Thread: Pacers all-stars

    Default Pacers all-stars

Right now it doesn't look like we're going to have any this year. I see D-west as an all-star caliber player but he doesn't get a whole lot of recognition from the rest of the league. PG would be our only other guy with a shot, but he hasn't really shown enough just yet. I see him being an AS within the next 2 seasons.

If West keeps it up he will be in. The good thing about NBA All-Star voting is that it is only for the starters. The coaches select the bench, and the coaches will not ignore how West is playing. If it wasn't for the coaches Roy wouldn't have been an all-star last year.

IF PG keeps it up, he MIGHT be a valid coach choice, but wings are pretty crowded in the East.

I don't think there's any way that PG makes it in.

Look at it this way: Evan Turner is putting up very similar numbers, does anyone think he's worth an all-star berth??

I say D.West has a shot if he keeps up his level of play.

David West has played like an All-Star this year. His problem is going to be that the Pacers haven't played like a team that deserves an All-Star. It's still a long ways off though. If anybody makes it, it's going to be him.
