It just seems like that, I mean how often are the Colts and Pacers good at the same time.

Colts surprise us by being good, so of course the Pacers have to disappoint.

And yes I just realized I used the wrong form of Two in the topic title.

Yeah but that seems to be the exception to the rule.

It's a conspiracy between Goodell and Stern. In the spring, they get together and decide which small market teams will succeed and which ones will fail.

Imagine how Toronto feels......Leafs, Raps, Jays all suck

Most cities would kill for just one team to be good.

If games are won and lost on a calculator and piece of paper, then why do we bother to play them?

I don't think the state of Indiana has much to complain about right now:

    1) The Colts are the de facto "feel good" story of the NFL and at 8-4, a surprising playoff candidate.
    2) The Hoosiers are ranked #1 and undefeated.
    3) The Fighting Irish are ranked #1, undefeated, and playing for a national championship.
    4) The Pacers are playing .500 ball and that's "under-achieving". There's reason to believe they will also put things together down the stretch.
    5) Tony Stewart, a Columbus native, is probly the biggest draw and most entertaining racecar driver in sports.
    6) The Indiana Fever just won the womens WNBA Finals.

So while the Pacers are sorta slackin'.... I'm not complainin' too much.

Come on now, folks. It's way to soon to say that the Pacers will not be good this season. The team is missing a key player and just beat the Lakers on the road. The team might be starting to hit its stride, and most of us would be delighted if we were at or just above .500 when Granger gets back. This year we will have at least 2 good sports teams.

How do you become an entertaining race-car driver?

    Wait...

    a) How are the Pacers not good right now? Because the last game was a loss? Yes, the Pacers aren't living up to expectations right now, but that doesn't mean they aren't good. b) Did I dream those years in the mid nineties when I had a Jim Harbaugh poster on one wall and a Reggie Miller poster on the other?

If the question is "why aren't the Colts and Pacers title contenders at the same time?", then the answer is that title contention is rare. Even the Yankees and Celtics of the world will go a full decade out of the title hunt.

He must not pay attention. Stewart is about the only reason to watch racing.
