Thread: Most impressive rookie outside of Luck?

Default Most impressive rookie outside of Luck?

My top two would be T.Y. Hilton and Vick Ballard. I am going to go with Ballard because he beat out a veteran for the starting running back spot, and has played very well recently.

    Edit:

Hilton, Ballard and D. Carter have made immediate impacts. Brazill has made the most of his few opportunities. Fleener not so much but he has show flashes of why he was chosen so high. Chapman has yet to play. Overall I'm satisfied with our haul from April. I just hope we do as well next April and come away with a true impact 1st rounder.

Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

    For the Colts:

Hell, it's a tough question to ask, which is a great thing. Hilton has been good, our rook TE's as well. But I'd have to go with Vick Ballard. Picked him up in my fantasy league, last week.

    The rest of the NFL:

RG3 and most of the rookie QB's have shown a lot of promise. It's been a fun NFL season to watch. So glad the zombie season of 2011 is way passed us.

Enjoy the 'Skins game last Sunday, va?

14/15, 400 yards and 2 gazillion TD's no picks. Damn. We are lucky to be fans of teams with rookies like Luck and RG3. Again, these are ROOKIES. ROOKIES.

    I loved it.

You are right. Pretty cool to see these two have the games they have had so far this season. It is a good time to be a Redskins fan, at least I know there is hope for the future.

No question Jerrell Freeman dude is a monster. Freeman IMO is a big reason for the Colts success hell of a player and really fun to watch. Really no debate IMO.

It's pretty easily Allen and Freeman for me. Allen's extremely well rounded for a rookie TE and Freeman's probably the best player on D. Hope Freeman's deal wasn't just for this year.

He is 26 wonder if he holds out next year. I wouldn't be surprised if he does the Colts have a boat load of cap room. I bet they could work something out. Just add a 1 in front of those numbers and at that is a good comprise for both parties.

If you are just talking about the Colts I'd say Ballard and Allen closely behind. In the league I'd say RG3.
