I still hate Gerald Green, btw.
Guy does absolutely nothing to contribute to winning basketball. Occasional pretty dunk or knocks down a three, but it's just empty. No significant impact on improving the team's result.

And just like that, they bring me back (sorta).

Well done, Miles and Sam. Way to keep fighting, Tyler.

Hang your head in shame, Roy.

Guess what. If you take out the 1st quarter......................... Indy actually outscored the Bucks the rest of the game. Haha.
There are two types of quarterbacks in the league: Those whom over time, the league figures out ... and those who figure out the league.

Except for icing the Washington win, which at this point is a big deal.

When was the last time the Colts and Pacers both had a good season? Seems as if they are always polar opposites.

I will continue to watch this team because they are my favorite sports team, but they are in serious trouble right now. Last year their defense lead to offense and now they don't have either one going.

Not what Nets fans will tell you

Still unsure why he's only posted up a grand total of 1 time this year when that's one of his biggest strengths offensively.

A Gerald Green fan who now finds himself rooting for the Suns.

shut the hell up Croshere. Miles Plumlee is never going to be Jeff Foster.
I think he'll be better, personally. Not a better rebounder, but better overall. He looks like he wants to be out there (unlike Big Money) and has a chip on his shoulder, and he's got size, strength and athleticism. People can hold his college/draft status against him all they want, but the same way they continue to be wrong about Lance Stephenson, they will be wrong about Plumlee. He's no star, but he's an NBA player.

I don't have anything against the guy personally, of course. It's not his fault the Pacer's brass poorly evaluated him. What don't we need, another pseudo - 3 point shooter who doesn't really do anything else well (other than dunk). Great acquisition.

Lol the Nets were terrible with him there. He was only on the team whenn half the league is tanking. How did he help the Nets win? They had the 6th worst record last year they were awful. Posting up isn't a strength the dude is a twig with no strength and even a clue how to play basketball. I'm still not mad at signing him though.when the Pacers have a tight budget like we do the FO has to gamble I figured he wouldn't grow up. I am still pissed we dodnt go after Scola i think Simon has a budget and thats why Scola should of been our top priority this off season when he was let go.I miss Brush as our wing off the bench. But for real Green is one of the stupidest players I have seen doesn't make very many right plays.

He may be our best pull up jumpshooter.

I mean he's not a great player, he's incredibly flawed, but the few things he does well are not being utilized at all here. If I'm Frank Vogel and I need to get some points out of my 2nd unit, I go watch some tape of how the Nets used Green last year and run those exact plays for him.

And again, everything with him looks worse than it is right now because his shot isn't falling. It will eventually, and things won't look so awful. I'd characterize his play as a bipolar, when things are going well (for him or the team) he's flying all over the floor as a high energy guy and hitting his shots. When they're not, you'll see his head hang a lot, he won't be as high energy, and his shot will look awful. I say that simply as an attempt to explain what you're seeing so far, because although he's not a great player, he's definitely not as bad as he's looked to this point.

This is BS and needs to stop. What's with the vague terminology? Empty? He's deficient on defense and passing, but I have no idea what else you might be talking about. He gives effort. He's a hard worker who is in a shooting funk but is still the best straight up shooter we've got on the team, which is why I have no problem with Vogel allowing him to take those shots (IMO that's the one thing Vogel is doing right). At least he doesn't mope around like Hibbert/George. I mean, apparently nobody on this team is doing anything "to contribute to winning basketball." Don't take it out on the guy averaging 10 & 5 in a bench role.
