Rush tweeted a pic of Bynum sitting on the bench with some lol looking hair. Looked like a chick. Wonder why Quis didn't play he played great the other night vs the Celtics.

Again I don't think Vogel is the problem, the problem is the front office.

Watching the Pacers so far this year must be what hell feels like.

This isn't completely Vogel's fault, though he does deserve a sizable amount of the blame. I place most of the blame on our front office for blowing all of our cap space to massively downgrade our bench. I knew at the time that this off-season was mediocre, but I didn't think it would be a complete train wreck.
We spent four years rebuilding- we got one solid year and all that hard work was erased in the span of a few days in the offseason.

All that goodwill that Larry Bird painstakingly built vanished in a couple of weeks. He must be irate at what Pritchard and Walsh did to this franchise.

Once again, this was not directed at you either. Similarly, what you said was not directed at me either since I never said anything close to what you implied.

My point is that everyone is tired. We don't need to make this any harder to ourselves.

I'm not on your case. You just happened to be the one I was replying to when I made my general observations.
Just put some people on the ignore list, and browse past the other people. It really is quite easy that way until people start quoting them endlessly.

Pacers are just mentally gone... never seen anything like this.

Fair enough, but this is the way the game thread has always been. It's like being at a bar with your buddies.
Except that it feels like a war zone when things are going awry. If that's how bars are like in the US then fair enough

Gee, the JUST Pacers need 27 pts per qtr in order to make their game average of 88 PPG.

    Any bets??

Nuntius was right. I was wrong. Frank Vogel has retained his job.

They are in Indiana. Especially when it involves Pacers.

    Walked right into that one.

For people wanting Vogel fired...so...it's his fault Roy can't get position on Larry ****ing Sanders? It's his fault Hill can't hit a shot? It's his fault guys aren't defending the paint?

    So ridiculous.
One of the above, sure, don't blame the coach for that. All of the above and more as regular issues that haven't improved a single iota since the first game? Absolutely the coach. If you don't put that on the coach then what do you ever put on the coach? Frank Vogel is Luke Fickell 2.0...solid at what he did before, not cut out for being a head coach at all.

Positive comment: Paul George put the ball up 11 times in the first half. He did so 16 times yesterday. That's the volume increase I want to see, he just needs to stop making them all long jumpers vs guys he's a half foot taller than.

Are you really going to try and play the "Europe doesn't have reactionary sport fans" card right now? Because I will have to proceed to pee myself laughing. If you're being serious about acting like this is just a US thing well I don't know, do you not watch soccer?

Vogel is part of the problem, but our front office definitely needs to go. I was only half-joking during the off-season when I said that Donnie came back to finish where he left off.
