Anytime you can spend $100M+ in the off season for a chance to maybe come from behind against the 1-6 Raptors without their best player on the heals of their triple OT game, you have to do it.
    No doubt.

By the way, Roy Hibbert is about 4 months away from having the most untradeable contract in the league. Congrats Roy, you've earned it.
I remember when the whole board killed me for saying we must trade him while his value was high and not pay him. Everyone though i was crazy for wanting to blow the team up and not turn into the Hawks Not my style of C when he is on and when he is off which is most of the time he is awful. BTW Vogel not having Lance in right now should be criminal. Vogels rotations are too mechincal.

As an outsider I failed to understand much of the hype around Lance. I'd seen his exploits from his high school days, but he was unimpressive in college, and hadn't done much in his first NBA opportunities.

I entirely understand where people were coming from now. He seems to have an excellent awareness to him offensively. It seems like the only time the offense has any flow to it is when he's in the game. Hopefully the improved jumper isn't just a small sample size thing, because if he's a threat to hit the open jumper he's become a pretty useful player.

A Gerald Green fan who now finds himself rooting for the Suns.

"We've got to be very clear about this. We don't want our players hanging around with murderers," said Larry Bird, Pacers president.

Tyler should stay in but I expect Vogel to sit him.

He isn't running his offense. He's running what Vogel wants him to run. That happens to tons of assistance coaches, which is why when a coach gets fired and an assist is promoted they run a new offense.

How is this not obvious? Do you really not know what offense we'd run if Shaw was coach? I'll give you a hint, it's a shape.
So he doesn't get to run the triangle. That doesn't make the case that he isn't deeply involved in what we are doing. Do you think he just sits on the bench dreaming triangle dreams?

I'll give you a hint: no.

Speaking of the triangle, this is an offense that has been a spectacular failure with anyone other than Phil Jackson implementing it.

Anytime you can spend the 4th quarter praying your coach doesn't put your max money player back in, you have to do it.

When you have unathketic bigs who can't dunk, you're gonna struggle converting inside against length. Simple as that

How many wide open jumpers has PG missed tonight? He's not even rebounding to somewhat compensate for it.

Everyone has been just OK to bad except Stephenson, and it's not like he's been awesome either.

No fun to watch at all. If they can pull a W out of this that's all well and good but it's not going to make me feel any better about how horrible my team looks out there.

Pacers hold the Raptors scoreless for almost 5 minutes and get only 2 points closer.

A classic scenario when you have two poor teams playing one another.
