I'm sorry, but didn't this game pretty much put to rest all this, Beilein is a new coach BS? Did he have a strategy tonight? No. It was just chuck 3s all night and luckily they were hitting, just like his WVA teams. The only difference in his system is that on most nights Burke forces them to have some semblance of an actual offense. Don't know how OSU let them off the hook other than Craft trying to play hero ball.

I saw someone post this on Twitter and couldn't agree more: The Big Ten Tournament semi finals might be better than the Final Four if you have Indiana, Michigan, Ohio State, and Michigan State playing.

Kansas is losing to ****ing TCU 20-8 with 3 minutes left in the first half. I'm beginning to think this is IU's season to lose at this point.

That would be pretty awesome. It would have happened last year if we had beaten Wisconsin.

The Big Ten's image is so much better with UM, MSU, IU and OSU all highly ranked. The days of Purdue, Illinois and Wisconsin being the face of the league are a thing of the past, thankfully.

I will never count Wisconsin out of anything. They own Indiana.

Hehe...Bill Self with awesome quotes after the game, but yeah Kansas is looking like a bit of a fraud.
"It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."

TCU has a Sagarin rating of #211 even after last nights' win.

TCU is lower than big 10 doormat Penn State by a mile, and based on the Sagarin rating, TCU would right now be:

    8th in the Colonial conference
15th in the Atlantic 10 conference
9th in the Big West Conference
    12th in Conference USA
    9th in the Horizon League
7th in the Metro Atlantic Conference
    9th in the MAC conference
10th in the Missouri Valley Conference
Last in the Mountain West conference
    5th in the Summitt League

This Kansas loss is like if we lost to Central Connecticut State or FAU!

TCU lost to Northwestern at home by like 30 points. That is all you need to know.

I would like to think so, but I am still not sure that they are. Another loss in the MVC would really hurt them.

Strong chance they win the valley, only a game back also a top 50 RPI. I just don't see them getting snubbed. Owning two wins over top 25 plus RPI SOS over WSU...Valley is a two bid league this year and I think it's the trees and the jays.

Don't count your chickens before they hatch. One or two losses to mediocre conference teams could jeopardize your bid.

Indiana State has some really good wins. They also have some really, really bad losses. How much do they cancel each other out?

I would personally reward more than punish in this case remember that ISU is a relatively new team, they got it together and have beat the toughest part of their schedule and still have a top 50 RPI...they are in.

If the tournament started today, they probably are. But there are more potential bad losses than good wins left on their schedule. They have to take care of business and make a healthy run in the conference tournament.

Tyler Lewis is NC State's PG, his grandma just passed away. Duke fans were chanting "how's your grandma" at him. Rot in hell Cameron Crazies.

There was another article from somewhere either early this season or late last season, may have been on grantland, about how the Cameron Crazy mystique was becoming a thing of the past, their cheers are no longer that innovative and that they are in general pretty average.

Also, 4+ years of undergrad? I mean Duke is a tough school, but come on there champs.

freakin Kohl Center man. great game with a goofy ending, Hardaway fouled out...but didn't? then Wisconsin doesn't foul and UM gets a decent look for the tie.

also, Indiana State's down 3 at half to a crap Southern Illinois team

So UM loses, and if Purdue were somehow to upset MSU and then IU beats OSU tomorrow, IU would be alone atop the B1G, three days after everyone thought the sky was falling! Then MSU plays UM on Tuesday.

Big 10 basketball- a wild, wild ride.

ISU pulled it out against SIU by a point, I know Miami didn't have Reggie Johnson, but man how great is that win looking for the Sycamores?

The Miami hype train has hit a fever pitch.

I like Larranaga though--that guy is a solid coach. Excellent hire by the Canes.

Miami is legit when Reggie Johnson is healthy that team is a load. Not a huge Larkin fan. However he is a great fit for his team. Love their backcourt and their bigs. That team is gonna be scary come tourney time. I know I wouldn't want to play them.

Agree with Doris they should be in play for the #1 team.
