    Surprise, Surprise

it wouldnt matter if we played a team with one leg and one arm you would probably still pick them against the colts.

I think that I made it clear that as a gambler, I would be betting against the Colts in every game this years. Look at the bright side for you, so far I am behind but there is a long way to go..... I still think I will finish making money

Lol. You would be as bad at gambling as you are about talking football. Considering as bad and miserable as the Colts looked last year, they covered the spread 6 out of the 16 games. And this year, they've covered the spread 4 out of 7 games.

But great plan betting against them every game, foolproof!

Colts should have signed Chad Pennington, but the damn Dolphins got him. I have a funny feeling he's going to make the Colts pay instead of Fiedler, 3 TD's for Chad and he will taunt Dwight Freeney all game long....

The only way the Dolphins loose is if they tank for a higher pick for the Vhantay Revis trade.

I also bet against the Jags and Kansas City every game. That means I am considerably up for the season and I expect to be "up" betting against the Colts too but I will be delighted to take a loss there. I don't care about the spread. The winning team covers the spread 80% of the time. So, I just try to pick winners....

Hey!! If the Colts had drafted him, he wouldn't be injured because he would be playing behind Peyton Manning and learning more about the game. Everyone gets injured. Remember that....

Lol. So it's that easy, huh? I'll start betting against the Jags and Chiefs every game, while at the same time bet for the Texans, Falcons, and Patriots every game. Vegas won't know what hit them! Foolproof!

Lol, you're really reaching now. Must be tough running out of ammo.

Most of our backups who "learned" under Manning looked pretty bad when they played. Curtis Painter spent two years "learning" behind him and has to be one of the worst QBs to ever take a snap in an NFL game. The whole "a QB could learn under Manning" angle has always been extremely overrated. Manning isn't in the business of tutoring young quarterbacks. He's going to take all the snaps in practice and do virtually everything else. All a backup QB is going to do under Manning is hold a clip board while sporting a hat and headset. There's nothing wrong with that as Manning is one of the greatest QB's ever. He should be doing everything and should not be expected to be a tutor. But there's not a shred of evidence to support that any QB has ever gotten better by "learning" under Manning. Our backups can barely even make other teams.

You're going to learn about work ethic under Manning, but that's about it. That's not near as important as in-game experience. That's what a young QB needs.

I don't recall sayint it was foolproof.... It is what I am doing. Betting on those teams to win isn't a bad idea either..... That would be a big winner. I spotted the Colts, Jags and KC as teams that were going to struggle this year before the season started. I still believe the Colts will struggle. I would have bet on the Texas to win every game but I would not have been sure about the Falcons and Patriots... I started doing a lot better when I stopped betting the spread..... When my computer spit out that data that 80% of winning teams cover the spread, I started doing better. I do this for fun, I don't bet a lot....

If a young QB did not learn something watching Manning, then he is a mental midget and should not have been drafted in the first place. Sorgi was a pretty good QB for the Colts when he got to play... Yes, you can throw a young QB out there with no line to protect him and no running game to take the pressure off of him. Will he finish the season on his feet. I doubt that Luck will but he is no wimp and he might prove me wrong but he is taking a terrible beating every week and it will get worse when he sees New England, Detroit and Houston twice. Belecheat would love to knock him out for the season or a career if he could.....

There's only so much you can learn by sporting a hat on the sideline while not taking a single snap in practice. OK, maybe you can "learn" some cool stuff that only people on the inside are privy to, but you aren't going to actually improve your own skills that way. There's a reason that Manning wants every snap in practice - it's what makes you better.

Was Manning better off playing for the Colts as a cold rookie and getting actual in game experience, or would he have been better off being Marino's backup and not doing anything in practice? Manning would answer that question by saying that playing from the get-go helped make him a better QB. He's said this before. He is an advocate of young QBs playing immediately.

There's no evidence to show that playing under Manning has resulted in the improvement of a player's skills. How come Sorgi never again took a snap after leaving Indy? He wasn't even 30 years old when he left.

I predict if you don't have tickets you'll get to see the game on television locally. The Andrew Luck led Colts have sold out the show once again.

I have been watching for a long, long time..... That is exactly what Denver is doing right now. They have their QB of the future observing a master.... It worked pretty well for Aaron Rogers and several others. But, dump the franchise into a fire with no offensive line to protect him and no running game to keep pressure off of him and the result will be inevitable. It has happened time and time again and it will happen here too. It is you who knows nothing about football or history......
