Giving up a likely stud SG in Beal, and then throwing in 1st rounders to boot. If they want Gay, fine, but they shouldn't overpay for him. Something like Okafor+Vesely+future 1st is the most the Wizards should offer, and is more in line with Gay's trade value.
The Grizzlies won't do that deal......they don't want to add additional 2013-2014 salary to their books. Adding Okafor would do just that. Also....they need someone that can immediately contribute...Vesely wouldn't meet that requirement.

I keep on getting back to the notion that the main reason why the Grizzlies would want to move Gay is to clear the bulk of his salary from the 2013-2014 Salary Cap while getting back an asset that can contribute at a decent level. I didn't realize that the Wizards don't have any big Expiring Contracts....so there I don't see the Wizards being a good trading partner for the Grizzlies.

Haslem's purpose on the floor is to fill the shoes of Bosh when he steps off the floor....he's just supposed to rebound and defend...not much else.

Coach is always talking about how everyone needs to be active in the offense though.

I really hope we play the Bulls in the playoffs at some point. Time to bring some D to the forefront of the NBA.

It would be great really just to get the revenge from 2 years ago. And yes, to showcase games where the battle is on the toughness on D.

Is it because of the return of Avery Bradley, the emergence Sullinger and KG being more of a douche-nozzle lately ( see his comments to Melo )?

Bradley was a really significant part. He made a difference from Day 1.

JJ Hickson has about as much defensive awareness as Gerald Green does.

A bit old but I didn't see it here...

I don't know how that happens really.
"It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."

JJ produces even when playing out of position at Center. If Green was producing at at JJ's stats, Pacers fans would be elated touting how Walsh made such a great deal getting him. Or if Walsh had picked up JJ at his stats, Pacers fans would be feeling they got a steal at the 4 mil salary he earns. I'd take JJ over Hansbro, and never think twice about it.

Despite JJ's lack of defense, he's pretty good. Especially for what he makes. I'd take him over Hans any day of the week as well.
Lance + Starting SG = Awesome

    Now really free Lance!

He's a double double guy who won't be gotten next season for 4 mil! He'll at least double his salary next season, and my guess it won't be in a Trailblazer's uni.

Bledsoe's such a stud. I'd trade Granger for him, but I doubt the Clips would take it.

Greivis Vasquez with another good game, he is like a younger version of Andre Miller.

You know Rick doesn't trust DC when he has Mike James playing at the end of the game, he must know that DC is a chocker.

I must say was wrong about his #s and play. First Hornets game I watched was when EJ came back from injury. I remembered the Grevis of last year who I wasn't a huge fan of and figured he just had inflated stats because last year at times he did. But he is much improved IMO team is really good with a healthy EJ.

Walsh made a huge mistake in signing Amare instead of keeping Lee, he went for the shiny toy.

Well, in the end.....Walsh ended up helping the Pacers and the East by shackling the Knicks with his 18+ mil long-term contract
