Looks like he had no idea Beaubois was there. Glad the cameraman had the presence of mind to record Roddy's reactions though!

Roddy does look pretty clueless out there at times, though.

I can see us being 50 games deep in the season and still talking about Hibbert:"Roy is coming out of his offensive slump any time now"...

Loved how Dahntay "straightened him up" though.

    Sam Bowie:

Bowie on being examined by Portland prior to 1984 NBA Draft: “I can still remember them taking a little mallet, and when they would hit me on my left tibia, and ‘I don’t feel anything’ I would tell ‘em. But deep down inside, it was hurting. If what I did was lying and what I did was wrong, at the end of the day, when you have loved ones that have some needs, I did what any of us would have done.”

This. The guy's a professional troll that needs his credential revoked. Jim Mora's going to punch him by the end of next season.

5 games is a slump. 10 games is maybe a slump. The season is a quarter over. It's time to start accepting the player we have, and stop dreaming about the player we wish we had.

perfect pass so Green didnt have to gather himself

great play call and great decoy in Klay Thompson mis-communication by Allen and Battier.

Warriors are a really good team

Jack is a super sub hell of a move to trade for him by the W's

Warrios beat the Heat in Miami. They seem legit. I actually feel better about our loss to them earlier in the season

I know it's still early but the top 9 teams in the East are all solid, and the 4-9 are all pretty close in the play-off run, it'll be interesting to see what happens as Indiana is currently 9th and a game behind bucks. Those losses to the bottom teams will come back to bite.

I will agree with you that Hibbert is a better defender, but it's not like Gasol is terrible and I think you are underestimating his rebounding capability. He has a slightly lower number this year, but that's because Zach Randolph is pulling down over 12 per game. Part of that is because Gasol plays more minutes, but Hibbert loses a lot in effectiveness when he's tired. But Gasol has proven to be a solid rebounder his entire career.

I do agree they're comparable though. What Gasol is having is a better season. Doesn't mean he's "on another level."
I agree with everything you said. Gasol is a good defender. Not as good of a rim protector but he's good defensively. Good post defender and good on PnR as well.

He certainly has a better season. But as you said, he isn't on another level.

They are comparable players with comparable contracts. If some people feel that Marc is underpaid, I'm not going to disagree with them. I'm just gonna disagree with the overpaid notion

Good job by my boy Reggie Jackson tonight looks like he may be back in the rotation. He is better than Maynor and glad he is playing again after Maynor "beat him out"(which he didn't Jackson out played him). Solid defense and is improving his pg skills.

The Mavs are using Shawn Marion as a Center late in the 4th against the Celtics

And it's not only that Marion is actually playing Center. Vince Carter is playing Power Forward. And want to guess which is the Mavs' Small Forward in overtime? It's Derek Fisher

Fisher fouled out and Dahntay Jones came in.

He straight up blocked Paul Pierce in the last play of the OT. Double OT it is.

Missed a wide open 3 that was created by DC's penetration, though.

Then again both teams look gassed.

I cannot believe what Marion did there

PS: And here's Dahntay with the almost "pull the chair" attempt.

Shawn Marion at center? Vince Carter at PF? Derek Fisher at SF? Who's really coaching that team, Rick or JOB?

To be honest, no team even attempted to go for an offensive board. Also, Marion seemed able to cover Garnett so it worked out. But it still was quite lol-worthy
