That's what I remember that it was reported. That's my understanding. I could be wrong, though.

    Westbrook: 23-13-8-7-8. so close to a quintuple-double.

    Huh???

The only reason he was traded was to make cap space for the new guys.

That was what the official statement said. Not sure he was a cancer. I thought Dunleavy was suppose to be the cancer.

Only thing I remember was Dahntay and Lance had an issue, but it got resolved. I felt the chemistry was really good last year, so I'm not sure about Dahntay cancer thing.

I felt Jamison was one of the better pickups the Lakers have gotten. They were so lucky to unload Luke Walton. He's played like 31 min this season. Now, there is a horrible contract.

I have never seen a guy with such bad shot selection. Dion Waiters hasn't taken a good shot tonight. Surprised Scott hasn't benched him. Seems like this is the story every Cavs game I watch. Andy V should thank Waiters every time he shoots Andy knows to hit the glass

Did you know that only 99 players in the history of the NBA have appeared in more games than Antawn Jamison? And if he plays in every game this season, that number will shrink to 71!

Watching Brooklyn's frontline minus brook Lopez just beat up Miami inside makes me wonder how the hell they managed to win a championship with such a small frontline.

Yeah, I get that lebron is unstoppable. It's just that this heat team doesn't look any more intimidating than lebrons cleveland teams.

It wasn't about being the team everyone loved, it was about beating the teams everyone else loved.

They didn't really go up against the greatest front lines in the league.

I don't know, he's not athletic enough to be an NBA player, but his TV show was awesome.

    @si_nba: Anderson Varejao's trade value skyrocketing http://t.co/bjSsQ3JV

Pacers should try to get him.

    Why?

    Just SMH.

The shame is the Pacers can't afford Andy. They'd have to trade DWest or Granger to get him, and the way Varejao is playing the Cavs won't. Cavs have a good thing going for 8.3 mil with another year at 9 mil.

Kind of inconsistent with your positions to get guys who trade value is low and who are young, no?

That's what I mean. His value couldn't be higher now. Buy low, sell high.

I'm certainly not objecting to Varejao the player. I just don't see a way we get him and make our team better.

Well he is only 30, his job is to rebound, play D and score without having plays call for him, he is a averaging 15 and 15 while making 9mil a year that's is an steal at that value.

He also has a long enough contract were you don't have to worry about him leaving to another team.

A guy that can rebound as good as him and can play lock down D as good as him makes this team better, I don't see how he doesn't make the Pacers better.

He is also really good at guarding the pick and roll because he is quick enough to move unlike West/Roy.

I'd like him, but I don't see how that would happen.

West + Plumlee + OJ for Varejao + Walton?

Cleveland gets 2 young cost controlled players and a solid vet. Pacers get Varejao and plug him in at the PF. Take on Walton to also help Cleveland save some dough.

Or sub out Plumlee for 1st.

Lance + Starting SG = Awesome

    Now really free Lance!

Cleveland says no. They've only got 48.5 million in salary, so they don't need to save money. Walton's on the last year of his deal, and they've already cut Harangody and Azubuike even though they have guaranteed money.

Best trade I could come up with is Varejao and Waiters for West, George, and a lottery protected first round pick. But I'm not sure Cleveland does that either.

Varejao is only 30, but when West showed up here, you acted like he was on his way out in a casket.
