    Harden turned down 4/52 mil.

    http://probasketballtalk.nbcsports.c...-from-thunder/

Just give him the 4/60 max. What difference does 2 mil a year make when your team's far capped out either way?

Harden's agent has to know that if Eric Gordon got a max offer after playing 9 games that Harden will get one from someone (Dallas, Houston, etc.) next summer barring a career threatening injury. The best compromise they could make is to structure a contract that becomes a max deal with incentives (NBA title, All Star games, All-NBA teams, etc.)

Seems to me that should help him on the back end....

Camby and chandler meanwhile will be an awesome twin towers combo. Melo can take all the shots he wants.

It wasn't about being the team everyone loved, it was about beating the teams everyone else loved.

That will go a long way to fixing any chemistry issues the Knicks have. Letting Melo take all the shots gets him to play much harder. How long will it take for Melo to start pouting when Amare comes back. couple of weeks maybe.

Seriously, as long as the Knicks don't get Melo hurt, it really doesn't matter who else plays. Offensively at least. Melo really only plays one way. The Knicks will go as Melo goes. Doesn't really matter who else is on the team.

Not sure how that doesn't end with MJ exalting over Craig Ehlo crushed soul, but awesome otherwise.

I am telling you, bone bruises are finicky *******s, I said this in the first Amare thread. I had three on my knee last year and they can take as much as 4 months to really be pain free.

Mavs go from Ian barley getting PT because of a good C rotation to starting Eddy Curry

Austin Carr is back!!(can u smell the sarcasm? He is bad but at least he is funny he is so bad he is funny)

Beal vs Waiters tonight will be a fun watch. I will probably be the only person watching

Price vs Irving should be good for my fantasy team

If you're a basketball fan, this is an intriguing game to tune into.

I expect these two teams to be neck and neck in the East standings all season.

some things never change ala Trevor Ariza's shot selection

Waiters looks gased he should be in game shape by now. Gotta stay active he gave up on that last play. But I like the dynamics the Cavs can throw at you on offense. But their defense isnt going to be pretty IMO.

His body could never handle all that extra weight. He had to slim down.

He's better than Ray Allen at this point. Add in a healthy Jeff Green and Avery Bradley, as well as the other guys they added, and that is one nasty team. That's all assuming that Pierce and Garnett maintain a level of play that is similar to last year.

I agree, I don't think is crazy to believe that Boston beats Miami if they had Green and Bradley healthy last year, now they are healthy(Bradley should be soon) and added other pieces, Boston is going to be scary.
