I wish we picked up Greg Smith before Houston did.

Remember Walter Sharpe? He's playing in the Philippines and got his contract voided because he either got drunk after a loss and passed out in a parking lot or had a narcolepsy attack, if that's what you call them. I'm not kidding about the narcolepsy, he really does have it.

Carmelo is just on fire, it helps that the last three teams cannot really guard him, with Lebron-less Heat, spiraling downard Hawks, and then the Bucks. We'll see what happens in OKC vs Knicks. GO OKC WOO..

Gonna be fun to watch him and Durant battle it out for the scoring title.

Durant's touch is just freakin other worldly man. Regardless of the angle it's just so feathery soft, can bounce around and hit every part of the rim and you know it's going to fall.

i love the silence when the Knicks score @ OKC's arena.....wouldn't it be nice if it were like that at BLF, wishful thinking.

Man, I really don't like OKC for some reason. I should be rooting for them in this game but just find myself getting excited whenever I see Durant miss.

Because they got lucky in the draft multiple years by tanking and now are a young team that plays at a championship level. Similar to Indiana, but who has not reached championship level. That's how I feel atleast.

Anyone who thinks the Pacers won't have trouble with the Knicks is stuck on February 20. We don't have a player in Melo's stratosphere when he's playing like he has been lately.

We need to make sure we get the 3 seed locked up before we rest people.

I'd rather play the Hawks too, but not having home court against the Knicks in the second round will be brutal if it comes to that. The Garden will be nuts.

the one thing I like about not having home court, is if we steal one game there

There's supposed to be trouble, conference finals shouldn't be easy to reach. I wouldn't expect easy series in any round. But i do think the Pacers have a good chance to win, and they'll be favorites IF Paul George isn't playing like he has been lately.

Whoa... I'm guessing the people that hate the Thunder are newer to this world. No offense but cheering against against a team that's playing a team currently in front of us is bad enough. Worse is cheering against them when they're playing the Knicks. If you were alive in the 90's to remember playing the Knicks, there's no way you'd want the Knicks to beat the Thunder. I mean, even with the #2 seed on the line is bizarre enough but cheering for a hated rival that's a large market... I don't get it. I hate all large market teams in every sports. You will never see me cheering for New York, Boston, Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago etc. in any sport. The fans are horrid and they get special treatment from the league/refs because they bring in more viewers/revenue. Just think, when we played the Lakers they shot 30 free throws to our 9 and won by 6. The other night they shot 18 free throws to the Grizzlies 7 and won by 2. How often are teams held under 10 free throws in an entire game? I'm guessing it's virtually never but if you're playing the Lakers who are a .500 team, apparently it's common. Just like it was common for them to attempt over 20 free throws in the 4th quarter during the playoffs against the Kings while barely winning. And against the Blazers. And the Heat beating the Mavs in 06. And so on...

I just can't bring myself to pull for large market teams over the smaller guys since they always seem to be given an advantage. Therefore if we can't win it(which we're not going to), I'm pulling for the Thunder. They're young, I don't hate their players and they play in freakin Oklahoma. Same goes for Denver. Those are the teams I'll be pulling for. Anyways... back to your regularly scheduled program.

No, i've been following the Pacers for over 15 years. I just don't like the Thunder. I don't have a problem with the Knicks. In fact, i think the NBA is much more fun when there's a Knicks-Pacers rivalry and both teams are strong. I respect their team, history, they have a ton of very knowledgeable fans. I want them to be a good team and then lose to the Pacers. It's similar with the Celtics or the Pistons. Chicago is the only team I might consistently root to fail, i just can't stand a lot about them, starting with their fanbase. As for the Thunder, it's not something that i can pinpoint to.

the Lakers are going to have to beat somebody halfway decent to get into the playoffs...

Getting swept by the clippers must sting, too.

    They beat the Pacers....

I think the Clippers are the absolute worst match up for them in the West. The clippers are too fast and LA is too old and slow.
