Why? aren't you one of the people that don't believe Oldblu is in some trailer somewhere? this is the Internet you can make s*** up and nobody would know.

I actually think since86 works for the Pacers PR department for the way he always makes excuses about anything they do, I don't know him so I don't know if that is true either.

this is a pretty cool little tool, you can drag the box to any specific point in the game and see the boxscore at that moment

heh, thought this quote from Boobie Gibson on the Dahntay Jones/Kobe thing was funny

    http://www.ohio.com/news/cavs-daniel...-play-1.381557

Gibson admitted this is a sore subject for him because his season was cut short last year when he injured his ankle on a similar play. Gibson landed on the Indiana Pacers’ Paul George following a shot and tore a tendon in his foot. He needed surgery to repair the tear and said Friday his foot still isn’t right.
But there’s more: Jones played with George on the Pacers last season.
“When I saw (Bryant’s injury), it (ticked) me off because (Jones) was on the team with Paul George last year," Gibson said. "Rumor has it, he taught (George) a few tricks.”

Question: I understand the 1/8, 2/7, 3/6, and 4/5 teams play each other in the 1st rd, but which winners play which winners in the 2nd rd??? Does winner 1/8 play winner 4/5 and 2/7 winner play 3/6 winner??
Yes 1/8 plays 4/5 in second round, as does 2/7 vs 3/6. Not like hockey yet where they base matchups off seed every round. It's not as necessary in basketball because the best team always wins a best of 7.
"It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."

Moe Harkless is quickly becoming one of my favorite players to watch, what a good basketball player. He is progressing faster than I though he would a lot of that has to do with being given a chance. I bet if he was in Philly he wouldn't even get off the bench this year.

The Knicks looked bad today. They looked like one of those Old-timer teams at times!

No Tyson, no Melo plus away game against a top team. We looked much worse in Philly.

Before the deadline Monta was shooting 39% but has been shooting 50% since.

I remember a couple of seasons ago when he went on a 6 week or so binge, shooting better than 50% and scoring something like 28 a game.

So Andray Blatche got amnestied by the Wizards. When that happens the former team still has to pay him his contract, but the amount he signs for with a new team is subtracted from that. Blatche is a FA this summer.

“If I get a lot (in my next contract), yeah, it’s going to take pressure off the Wizards,” he said. “But that’s why I’m not going to do that.”

wait what? I thought when someone gets picked up off the amnesty waivers they get picked up for the remainder of their original deal. So the Wizards are paying for Blatche this year, but next year when Blatche signs a new contract, they still have to pay him?

The Wizards pay the difference for the rest of his contract whatever it was.
