Why can't the Pacers have some one like JR Smith/Jamal Crawford/Jason terry. Man I would even settle for a Nate robinson. Anything is better than the Sam Young/Gerald Green/DJ Augustin combo.
Because when offered (Mayo, Crawford, Lee) they don't want to sign here.

Crawford chose to go to Portland instead of Indiana when we offered him a deal. Then he played poorly and appeared to be a dick up there, so I didn't care anymore. Then he went to LA and suddenly I'm a little sad again.
Mike Wells hinted on Twitter a couple weeks ago that Morway dropped the ball on Crawford, just like he did for Mayo. That's the first I'd heard of that.

    Mike Wells@MikeWellsNBA

Incorrect. A certain former Pacers GM dropped the ball on that one. @DPeck523 they tried. Crawford wouldnt have them

It's in the Philippines. Saw this one last night on tv. Never thought he has just that bad of an attitude (never saw him play in the NBA btw).

Celtics beat Atlanta in OT. They are dangerous.

There is a 1.5 game difference between the 4th to 7th seeds in the East.... a lot of room for movement in the seedings in the East. The Celtics are peaking at the right time.

If they play like they did against the Pacers in the last game where they just kept on taking midrange jumpshots....I won't be as concerned.

The Lakers, I don't know, even if they make the playoffs, I don't think they will get past first round.

The Raptors blow a 7 point lead going into the last 4 minutes of the game and then lose in OT.

I know we have lost to raptors a few times, but we were never down by 20. They were also down by twenty against Hornets.

I hope the Celtics and the Bulls are out of the 2/3 bracket. Especially the 7 seed - would hate to see the Celtics there. Let them face each other in the 4/5 bracket and give us Atlanta.

I think Brooklyn's pretty much sowed up the #4 seed. The question is whether Chicago will slide down to #6 or #7 (with or without Rose). We're jocking with New York for potential home-court advantage in the second round. Our opponent in the first round? Methinks Atlanta.

what one earth was Gray thinking on that last play? And why didn't Gay slide over and take the charge? He had all the time in the world...

    amazing

The poster "pacertom" since this forum began (and before!). I changed my name here to "Slick Pinkham" in honor of the imaginary player That Bobby "Slick" Leonard picked late in the 1971 ABA draft (true story!)

Kobe was the man there to be sure. Love how on that first 3 Howard is allowed to "screen" the defender by pushing him 5 feet up the court. As for the mention of Gay needing to step up and take a charge, do you think they would really call it? The Raps defense on the corner 3 was horrible. Why not set up outside him and not let him get to the corner or catch the pass?

Reggie Evans 24 rebs!!! He has to be the best bargain not on a rookie contract at 1.6 mil with 2 more years on his contract. The Nets wish now they never gave Humphries that 12 mil contract. Hump will be an expiring next season, so I look for them to trade him.

Brooklyn has the last "9" players on their roster at less than 2 mil. Just proves you don't have to keep late 20 picks to fill out a roster cheaply!

I mean, even if they don't, surely it's better than giving him an empty friggin lane to the basket? If you don't want to take a charge, contest him, do something! He's not passing it to anyone in an end-of-game scenario.

Anyway, that whole thing is Gray's fault. If you're gonna double at least do so aggressively. And for gods sake, don't give him a clear path to the basket!

I agree with you there JB24. In other news, Damian Lillard killed the spurs last night, leading the Blazers to a 30 point win, 134-104. 134 points is the most the Spurs have given up in the history of the AT&T Center history. He is an amazing player.
