These Golden State uniforms may be one of the worst sets I have ever seen. The yellow isn't even the right color and then they put the dumb pin strips on them. The team itself is pretty good though.

I know the purpose of the dumb circle under the basket, to keep the refs from actually having to decide on the call, but to automatically call a foul because the offensive player just blindly runs into the guy to draw contact is dumb.

Jack with a big 3 with 7.3 seconds to go to give the Warriors the lead.

Duncan to Manu on the back cut for two to force overtime. Barnes needs some jelly because Manu just tosted him!

I don't put a ton of stock in this or anything, numbers certainly DO lie and all, but we've got 4 of the current top 11 in the league in defensive rating

holy crap that's a long link

Why do they have instant replay when the Spurs did not touch the ball and the Warriors still get it. Wonder why noone respect the game? oh yes, it was a call where instead of calling the foul they just gave them the ball out of bounds, but they had to review it since it was overtime. Changed the whole flow of the game.

When I see them...it looks like they are playing in their pajamas.

Yellow on Yellow is just terrible looking when it comes to Uniforms.

Spurs gave this one away, but Golden State is fun to watch.

If we could get Jack as a backup Guard, I'd love it.....he and Landry are very solid Backup Players..cuz they are really good at shooting, not making mistakes and ( most importantly ) able to score when he needs to.

Simply put...he executes when the game is on the line and what you need on an experienced Team. As Alec Baldwin said in Glengary Glenross....."Coffee's for Closers only". Jarrett Jack gets to drink coffee all the time at the end of games....Why? cuz he's a Closer.

Jarrett Jack was an unfortunate scape goat on some bad Pacer teams.
"It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."

I don't recall that he was.....of course, my memory sucks...so I could be wrong.....he was just on the Pacers at the wrong time .

Was he? I remember pretty much everybody being big fans of Jack but Toronto priced us out of keeping him (thanks MurphLeavy!). Also, that Rush/Jack/McBob move for Bayless/Diogu move by Larry is pretty underrated.

Anyway, pretty much Jack's whole career he's been a "yeah, I like him, this guy's pretty good. But he's not THAT good, we can do better" guy. He's right on the line of let's give this guy a solid long term deal and ehh I dunno about paying him that much.

As a Starter? Yeah, I agree with you....but as a Guard coming off the bench as at 6th to 7th rotational Player? He's solid IMHO.

Absolutely, that's what I mean. But that's sort of been his bum luck through his career. Winded up starting on a bunch of mediocre teams and doing pretty well but they just "chose a different direction" because he's not a gamechanger. Now he's finally gotten to a good spot in Oakland with a pretty stable team with direction and he's able to show his value.

When you sign a long term contract with the Raptors, it's not bad luck that you're on a mediocre team.

Not sure where you are coming from with that statement. Care to explain?

I'll stay out of the J Jack conversation as we all know I'm a fan of his. He's the type of player I like to have on my team. I'll finish by saying it will be interesting to see how much he gets paid next year on his new contract.

    Here's his twitter feed.

    https://twitter.com/LarryCoon

I recall reading that Larry Coon was some Statistician and this NBA Analysis / SalaryCap FAQ stuff that he does was totally on the side and essentially "just for fun". What does he do now? He's like some Basketball Guru that I assume would be some NBA consultant. I'm surprised he hasn't landed some job at some NBA Team like Hollinger did.

Thanks for linking his twitter account.

I read the same thing about Coon. I thought I read somewhere (maybe in one of his chats) that he was actually offered by a team (teams???) but turned it down because he likes living in California and doesn't want to move his family.

Mo Harkless was so underrated in the draft process he was one of my favorite prospects last year. He and Vuc are two of my must watch young guys. Mo is gonna be special in a few years.
