Frank Vogel says "Killer instinct, start strong, build a lead and then step on their throats."
so the Nuggets have a $13 million trade exception that expires in March...

Report: Suns trying to trade for Jefferson, Hayward from Jazz http://dlvr.it/2x0ySs
I wonder if Hayward is available and what would be his price? I wouldn't mind getting him, he is nice.
Seems the Suns are targeting everyone.
3 scenarios for the draft, starting with my favorite first:
1. Pacers trade up for Justice Winslow
2. Take WCS or Stanley Johnson (this is the theory of a player falling); Make trades (Hibbert/West/others) for additional picks - George Lucas and Rakeem Christmas are players I'd love to have with a late first/early 2nd round
3. Trey Lyles
I'm sure my opinion will change many times before the draft though.
Reporter: who are you guys targeting in the trade market?
Suns GM: other players.
Reporter: as in?
Suns GM: ones that aren't currently on our roster.
Mike Bibby got thrown out of his son's high school game for yelling at refs, and there's video
I have many thoughts on this. One, man, Mike Bibby has a son in high school. I watched him live from the floor at the 97 Final Four. Two, c'mon Bibby. You're a grown man with a teenager, time to stop rocking sweatpants and chains.
Listening to the BS Report today has made me realize two things: 1) Ric Bucher is no longer gainfully employed by ESPN (thank god) and 2) Ric Bucher is a ****ing d-bag.
That flesh colored soul patch wasn't enough to make that conclusion before?
Really good piece and videos on Royce White. He says he hasn't practiced in 2 months which is odd. I would of though he would be playing every day working on his broke jump shot. He is really intelligent though I like how he came off in the videos talking about the kids and society.
I am ready to watch him play he is with the team today and I'm ready to see how rusty he will be. Again not a huge fan of his basketball game it's really flawed, but I will be rooting for him to succeed.
Courtney Lee's dunk on Bismack was filthy
BJ Mullens cant miss pretty scary

Remember that thread about teams with depth? The Spurs spank the Bulls without the big 3? First Parker shows how he can step it up when needed, now Leonard drops 26 because he has to. This team will be interesting if healthy come playoff time.
Mike Bibby escorted by police from son's high school basketball game

Former NBA player Mike Bibby is not popular on the internet. There is a widespread feeling that he is unlikeable, despite never having been a superstar and having been a prominent member of one of the most likeable teams of the last decade, the Kings of the early 2000s. Nonetheless, people will no doubt be amused to discover that Bibby had himself a little problem this week at his son's high school basketball game.
Mike Bibby got ejected and then escorted. Ejected from the game by the refs and escorted out of the gymnasium by Scottsdale police.
Of course, nearly 20 years ago, Bibby led Shadow Mountain to its first state basketball championship (followed by a national title at UA and then a 14-year NBA career).
This season, Bibby has been attending games to watch his son -- point guard Michael Bibby.
As usual, Bibby was in the stands for this sectional game. He was arguing with the refs until he was forced to leave with a police escort, thereby creating quite the memorable moment -- for all the wrong reasons.
via Mike Bibby booted from gym (BLOG).
So that's awkward.
Poor kid, Mike Bibb Jr., is just a freshman. He's got three more years of this. Kid's team won, though, beating Sierra Linda.
Also, Mike? You're at your kid's highschool game. There's no reason to have the gigantic boulder in your ear. We respect the style, but you're the dad. That's just a bad look, man.
Kobe isn't the only Laker upset with Dwight Howard. Nash is getting fed up too:
The poster "pacertom" since this forum began (and before!). I changed my name here to "Slick Pinkham" in honor of the imaginary player That Bobby "Slick" Leonard picked late in the 1971 ABA draft (true story!)
This Lakers drama/trainwreck is so enjoyable to watch.
