We thank Washington for the gift. Hope we will do the same for Detroit even though can't see them winning this one.

@TheRocketGuy any true to the rumor that Houston is interested in Granger? who can they offer for him the guy you like Parsons?

    Bill Ingram ‏@TheRocketGuy
@Indyvnzla81 Rockets have been interested in Granger for years . . .Indy is now willing to at least listen to offers. Parsons = $888K

    5m Bill Ingram ‏@TheRocketGuy
@Indyvnzla81 Houston would have to put a handful of players with him assuming they won't move Harden, Asik, Lin.

I asked him about the proposed deal.

@TheRocketGuy: @Indyvnzla81 But what does Indy do with all those players?

I asked him about the Rockets not wanting Gay and why they want Danny.

    @TheRocketGuy: @Indyvnzla81 They didn't want Gay . .

@TheRocketGuy: @Indyvnzla81 Of course, the Grizz weren't sold on trading Gay until he demanded a trade and they shipped him out the next day.

Rudy and Danny aren't exactly similar. RG isn't a good 3pt shooter. Rockets like advanced stats, which favor DG over RG. Plus he makes more.

Paul is about 50% DG and 50% RG.

So, Morrow hasn't been playing much at all for the Hawks, and tonight he was re-tweeting people complaining about his lack of PT.

Green for Morrow works straight up. And I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Celtics have been rolling without Rondo. 5 straight wins. Truth and Ticket have too much pride to let that team crumble. They are going to scratch and claw for the rest of the season.

Maybe they'll realize that they never needed him all along and will trade him to the Mavs for DC.

Or is it just another up tick blip that will be followed by a down tick like that last one?

Lakers have won all the games without Howard, coincidence? I don't think so.

What is Dwight's value around the NBA right now? Does someone definitely fork over the max to him? Or would he maybe have to come down? It's bizarre. I mean clearly I think if Roy is a max guy Dwight is a max guy, but when you compare Dwight's talent to Roy's talent it's stupid that Dwight is not more dominant than he is. If he had half of Roy's work ethic he could be one of the greatest big men ever, but he just doesn't seem to get it. He's happy just collecting a check and being a doofus who wears hipster glasses.

Houston, Dallas, Atlanta and other teams are going to offer him the max, maybe someday teams are going to learn what kind of a diva he is but so far they are willing to take that risk.

Fair point. Let me clarify that I don't think they will beating us, Miami, Chicago, New York, or even Brooklyn in the playoffs. But Pierce and Garnett will die before they allow that team to fold and collapse. They will make the playoffs, albeit as a low seed. Probably a first round out.

Here's what I think the story is on the C's this year, Pierce and KG still need to carry that team offensively, Bradley is not a great offensive player and Jeff Green just hasn't had it since he got to Boston. Rondo never really was an elite scorer so him being injured doesn't change that equation THAT much, yes they miss his passing, but they can work around it.

Pierce and KG then, have enough in their tanks to carry Boston for 4-5 game stretches (like we are seeing now), but then they need to rest for a while. It will get them in the playoffs, the big question for their first round opponent is, are we going to be facing a good 4-5 game stretch from Pierce and KG or a bad 4-5 game stretch.

They're currently in the eighth spot, but tied for seventh with Milwaukee. With the way the Bucks alternate between free-fall mode and playing well, it is a tossup.

However, Boston is 4 games up on Philly for the 8 seed...so it's pretty safe to say they'll make the playoffs I think. However, they'd be the recipient of a lot of Miami's frustrations in round one...which would be awesome for the Pacers. Indy could knock off Milwaukee or Atlanta in 5, then watch the bloodbath that is Truth/Tickets final stand against Bron.

Lets hope Boston doesn't move up, I still don't want to see them in the 1st round, give me the Bucks and probably Atlanta.

Well Jeff Green had only played half a season with them prior to this year. The heart surgery and subsequent recovery had to be brutal to deal with. He has been stepping it up lately with Rondo out. In the last 7 games, he's put up 9, 17, 11, 12, 17, 14, and 8.

I agree with you about the Pierce/Garnett "good or bad 5 game stretch?" question. They could still be a pain in someone's neck if it's a "good stretch".

QUICK before they lose him for nothing. He probably has the worst personality to pair with a fiery, play through anything, type of guy in Kobe. But I agree, ship his whiny a$$ out of town to anyone that's willing to take him.

I agree... ship him to Dallas immediately, if not sooner.
