Damn, Phoenix fans with the meh reaction to Nash coming back. Not a good thing for players to hear the lack of appreciation for one of the best players in franchise history. (I mean as far as if a great player wanted to come there)
"It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."

    p4e,

I truly respect your BBIQ and knowledge, I always look for your thoughts on stuff, but you've lost your mind here.
    you dont think

Bledsoe and Caron Butler is worth Granger and 2 really late 1st rd picks?? I think that is fair value only reason I would balk is worried we cant afford to keep Bledsoe when he is a RFA. But then again I think Bledsoe is going to be an all star talent for years to come so if you dont agree with that statement then I could see why you dont like it.

    Bledsoe/Lance/Hill
    Hill/Lance/Bledsoe
    George/Butler/OJ
    West/Ian/Tyler
    Hibbert/Ian

That would be a really strong team top to bottom. Bledsoe makes us even better defensively and improves our rebounding even more. We get a D and 3 guy in Butler who would be solid and fills a need. I really don't see a weakness with that team.

I know I wouldn't want to play that team come playoff time

there is a different ESPN reported that Smith's agents meet with the Hawks a few days ago to talk about his future with the Hawks.

Dwight injures his shoulder again...kills some trade value if its a serious injury, though the Lakers could still do quite well without him in the lineup. Got to see if its anything serious first.

Teammates stop making shots..Kobe stops passing. I'm not surprised. We'll see if he's passing again next game. Problem with Dwight leaving is it takes a huge chunk of LA's defense out.

Damn...I didn't see that Hawks/Raptors ending until now, refs are getting a lot of **** thrown their way lately. I wish Vogel would've gotten into the officiating like the Raptors coach did.

That was atrocious, the foul was clear as day.
It's like they really won't blow a whistle on the defense in every last second opportunity even with the most obvious call, just in fear of being accused. They need to grow a pair, this is getting ridiculous.

They can't call Iggy, because they gotta "let them play". (ok I guess), then Iggy actually makes contact with Paul and they call that a foul? Then, a day later, whoever it was gets hacked on both arms and I think he was even hit in the face by Horford and that's NOT a foul? How. in. the.

The officials can't confer on these plays either? Both games- On the Iggy oop, and Atlanta's hack job. The officials couldn't confer and go "well, I'm not so sure PG fouled him. In fact it looked like Iggy might have fouled PG. No call. Overtime it is". Or in the Atlanta game, you're telling me EVERY official somehow missed that foul?? How is that possible???

As much as I dislike the officials, you can't allow for review of foul/non-foul situations. That would be like having baseball umpires review strike/ball calls.

The officials just have to get better, and be punished when they fail to do their job.

I don't think that trade will happen for either side, doesn't really make sense. The Lakers are either going to have a severely hobbled or out Dwight Howard for the time being, so they need Pau.

I'm just saying that it's pretty much given that the Hawks and the Jazz would look to move Josh Smith and Paul Milsap ( both UFAs ) after they decided not to sign extensions with their respective Teams a few months back.

Something to consider is that Josh Smith is VERY GOOD friends with Dwight Howard. Both will be UFAs next season and could enjoy each other's company in LaLaLand while getting the biggest contract that they can get.
