That's what he got thrown out for I think.
My goodness, that GIF is incredible.

Regarding Kobe, he's just butthurt that he is going to lose some games/more attempts at the scoring record. That was clearly not a dirty play, and the fact that Kobe says they need to "protect shooters" is laughable. Kobe is a great, PHYSICAL defender. If they called a foul every time a shooter came down on a defender, Kobe would play 10 minutes a game.

If Jones had ran through Kobe, then sure, I could see the complaint. But, Dahntay simply contested the shot, and Kobe happened to land on the very edge of his foot. To think someone did that on purpose is absurd.

I'm a bit disappointed, I think giving Paul opportunities to go H2H with guys like Kobe is great for his confidence/overall game.

Kobe is awesome. "He Jalen Rose'd me." It is now a verb. Use liberally.

I really don't understand the people that watched Dahntay Jones play for 3 full years and think he was completely innocent on that play. Hell, even if you had no clue who Dahntay Jones was.

There are many times that I read your posts and wonder if you've ever watched an NBA game.

Oh I have no doubt in my mind that he meant to do that.

It wouldn't surprise me at all. Say what you will about the guy, but you really have to respect his incredible work ethic and will to compete.

Kobe's not playing tomorrow. His wife posted this picture.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little disappointed. I've never been a big Kobe fan but it is always fun to see one of the best in person and we're not going to have too many more opportunities. Oh well.

This is what he tweeted this morning:

    Kobe Bryant ‏@kobebryant
Compression. Ice. Django. Zero Dark Thirty. This is Forty and 1 hour of sleep. #countonwill #countonhaters. On to the next.

    I think he is playing.

I thought he said this was as bad as his ankle sprain in the 2000 Finals. He missed Game 3 of that series. If it's as bad as an injury that made him miss a FINALS GAME back when he was 13 years YOUNGER, no, I'm not expecting him to play tomorrow.

Kobe's borderline crazy. It'll have to be really bad for him to not play. You basically have to shoot him to get him to miss a game.

Feel really, really bad for Kobe. What a competitor he's been this year.

I hope this is sarcasm because that's how you treat almost all injuries

No, it's an ankle, it'll be fine. If it was a tendon in his knee, he'd be DOOMED.

I hope he plays. I spent a decent chunk of coin on tickets for tomorrow's game and will be extremely disappointed if I don't get to see the Mamba. I haven't seen him in person in a few years.

Hopefully they don't "misdiagnose" Kobe because I don't really want him to miss 50+ games next season.

I also hope they check for the small things first, they should give him an Advil to prevent headaches, a teraflu just in case he has the cold and they should take an x-ray of his lungs just to make sure he doesn't have bronchitis, I also hope they don't send him home and tell him to come back in 3 months to check the ankle, you never know what this NBA doctors (hacks) can do to a player, if only they had quality health care.....

I've never been a huge fan of Kobe's and think he's even been a tad bit overrated throughout his career, but with that said, he's a great player and competitor. Him and LeBron are the only true superstars in the league, imo.

You're right. They should immediately do surgery for a ruptured achilles tendon or a broken ankle. No sense starting out with the treatment for a sprain, go straight to the worst case.

Hopefully he goes to his local pharmacy to get PRP in his ankle, that seems like "non worst case scenario treatment", I heard that CVS pharmacy has an offer of two bottles of Advil and a bag of ice for free if you buy two PRP's sessions.
