He has a worse 3pt% and averages more turnovers.
Bayless, bless his heart, is still a small combo guard pretending to be a PG. He could play the backup spot for the Pacers, but he is not someone to count on come playoff time. He is faster [and quicker, i think] than DJA, but doesn't do any of the 'pure PG' stuff better.

FWIW, I agree with the stats. DJA has shot well since he returned to the rotation. And he is very steady with the ball. He would be a pretty good player if he had any size at all. But he is just too easy to pick or push around.

how would you guys feel if we had Bayless as opposed to Augustin as a backup PG?
I'd definitely take Bayless over Augustin. I'd also consider 4 vs. 5 instead of Augustin.

We really need to figure that out before the playoffs. Hopefully we're active at the deadline.

DJ actually shot .439 and .393 from 3 under Larry Brown, with 86.1% and 83.3% of them being assisted. When they got the new coach his assisted % dropped immediately into the 60s and his shooting percentages tanked. He's at 88.2% assisted here and his 3 point shooting was 40.9% in January. I think it will probably stay that way.

I don't really get that trade for the Clippers, unless they think Garnett can play the 3, which I don't believe. I mean he can finish games in place of Jordan, but its a lot to give up for a 6th man type player. For the Celtics it doesn't make much since either since the 1 position they're stacked in is PG, I'd have to figure Bledsoe would be going to another team for a piece they can use. I'd offer Lance to the Celts/Clips to get Bledsoe but they'd laugh and hang up the phone, not really a match there.
Whoa, whoa, whoa. While I agree that Garnett shouldn't have made the All-Star team, he by no means is a "6th man type player." He'd not only finish ahead of DeAndre Jordan, he'd start ahead of him.

Paul/Green/Barnes/Griffin/Garnett starting, Crawford/Jordan/Odom/Billups/Hill off the bench, with Green playing the first 8 minutes of the first and third quarters.

This trade would be an all-in move for the Clippers to try to win the title this year. I could see the Celtics and Clippers doing this deal.

The question is would Garnett sign off on this deal. He's fiercely loyal, and may still be with Minnesota if word hadn't leaked that they were trying to trade him.

There are only about 10 players I wouldn't trade for Eric Bledsoe... that would be a great deal for both clubs. Makes that long-awaited Rondo trade possible too.

He is already an elite rebounder and one of the best defenders at the pg spot. Given PT and time to grow he should devlope into a top 3-5 pg in a few years dude is just gifted. Has some of the best feet in basketball moves like a gazelle on defense. The only thing I don't like about him is his long release in a set shot type motion. He will never be a good shooter IMO but he is so gifted in other areas I would love that dude as my pg.

Yeah. The clippers have nosedived with him in place of Paul.

ē Houston is one team thatís said to have a keen eye on Indiana forward Danny Granger. The Pacers arenít totally against keeping the 29-year old forward, who has missed the all of the season with a knee injury. But following the emergence of All-Star Paul George, they are taking and making exploratory calls.

The key word here is "exploratory" inquiries. Unless the Rockets ( or any other Team ) significantly overpays for Granger ( which is unlikely ).....I doubt that the Pacers move Granger now.

It's likely that the Pacers are simply gauging what his trade value is in the upcoming offseason. As you have highlighted.....Granger's value is probably a Prospect+Expiring+2nd round pick ( what Rudy got the Grizzlies )

This is David West, he is the Honey Badger, West just doesn't give a *****....he's pretty bad *ss cuz he has no regard for any other Player or Team whatsoever.

He also says the Mavs are shopping brand too bad that he isn't trade eligible until 1 year after he was amnestied(which in this situation is after he expires). I like Amico but he doesn't do his homework a lot of times he just speculates on what makes sense.

Chandler Parsons+ Patterson or Dontas or Terrence Jones or Morris for Granger makes sense for us not really for the Rockets. We really aren't great trade fits. However if we could get Parsons I do it he is on a cheap deal for 2 more years would let us pay West and be flexible

I'd assume that Patrick Patterson would be a good place to start....but I think that the Salaries would be too hard to match. It's very hard to get salaries to work when we are talking about Granger's $13+ mil 2012-2013 salary.

That's yet another reason why Granger would not likely be moved.

We can't trade for Parsons because we can't break him and Jeremy Lin up.

Hah, that's true. But it's confusing because his name is so similar to Sam Amick of SI, who's much more reliable.

Houston as a possible trade partner is feasible I guess because they have a lot of young guys, and if we're trading Granger it would be for financial reasons so guys on cheap rookie deals would be attractive. Parsons would be nice but seems unlikely. I think they'd offer up one (or more) of their young PFs.

Rudy Gay is on fire 11 straight points Ray Allen cant guard him don't get why Miami is putting weak guys on Rudy.

Allen can't score either. 1 point for the whole game. Is Toronto's "D" that good or Allen's offense that bad? He's not scored a point in either Pacers game.

Parsons is a nice 2nd rd pick who has panned out from the start. I'm not advocating trading Granger, but if Parsons was part of the trade I'd have to really think about it.

At this point he's a glorified Kyle Korver. His job is to knock down open shots. He can't get to the rim anymore, so anytime theirs any type of length or athleticism on Ray, he's not effective anymore.

Michael Beasley:He was cited for driving with a suspended license, driving with excessive speed, driving with expired registration and failure to display a license plate on the rear of the vehicle.

    http://www.arizonasports.com/41/1607...n-with-the-law

According to the report, the officer noticed Beasley to have "slow speech and slow responses", but said no when asked if he had had anything to drink or taken any medications or drugs....
Another officer arrived on the scene and helped to administer a DUI investigation, and it was determined that he was not impaired.

plus his loaded gun was legally owned.
