Hey, good to see you posting those, Justin. I was waiting for them

You are probably the only one.

I've just not gotten myself into doing it like last year. Lack of desire and engery I suppose.

    Dan (Indy)

Does Granger have ANY trade value? Will he help really even help that much when he comes back?
    Chad Ford (1:21 PM)

All depends on how he checks out medically. If he's going to be 100 percent soon, he has a lot of value. If he's going to take the rest of the season to get back to 100 percent, his value drops for the Pacers.
    James (Chicago)

If Granger was 100% today, what kind of 4 or 1 could/would Indy target?
    Chad Ford (1:23 PM)

I think Eric Bledsoe of the Clippers would be their top target. Ed Davis, who the Pacers seriously considered drafting over Paul George, would be another option.

Interesting quote from Andre Iguodala on his defense:

"Sometimes when they're driving or want to get open and they're pushing off on me, they push off a lot, and they get away with it. So when they push off, I just lean back, but I grab their hand with me, so as they're pushing me, I grab them so they gotta come with me. When they're trying to come off and I'm holding that, that gives me a second to recover. That's them shooting the ball or catching and shooting the ball, right there is one second. So I'm back in front just by doing that."

Link to the story in it's entirety

a Granger for Bledsoe package just makes too much sense for it too happen. He would solve our need of a quick defender to guard quick 1s and the Clipps would be a much better team with a healthy Granger that is a move that turns the Clipps into favorites in the NBA IMO.

I am guessing they want to keep Lamar though for the playoffs if he is fit he is a perfect C vs a team that goes small.

We take back Caron Butler or LO whichever they prefer(i personally would trade Odom and then plan to use Granger as a PF a lot when Blake needs a break) and Bledsoe

We send Granger and 2 1st rd picks and call it a deal

Odom would probably go right back to his fatty self once he left LA again. Could even call him LFO.

Raptors and Grizzlies are discussing framework of trade with respective ownership groups now, sources tell Y! Deal could be done tonight.

There have been scenarios today that include third teams, and also where Grizzlies and Raptors could do deal straight up, sources tell Y!

Memphis and Toronto pushing closer on deal to send Rudy Gay to the Raptors, sources tell Y! Sports. Raps would part with Calderon and Davis.

If this goes down, the Raptors are going to be in cap hell with the contracts of Bargnani, DeRozan, Gay, and Fields. I don't know how the Raptors owner hasn't fired Bryan Colangelo yet.

An interesting side to this -- they'd be at ~74 mil next year. They'll probably have to amnesty Bargnani, Kleiza or Amir Johnson. Cap hell indeed.

But I think their ownership only cares about making the playoffs and filling the seats. No bigger picture.

    Lowry
    DeRozan/Ross
    Gay/Landry Fields
    Bargnani/Amir Johnson
    Valanciunas

Looks like a .500 team or slightly better. I feel sorry for Toronto fans but I guess they are used to this. All MLSE teams are similar.

I was gonna guess DET as the 3rd team because Maggetee contract is a good match. I I lol and said no way a contender like Memphis would actually give up the season by having Maggtee be their 3. I am guessing Memphis players will be pissed.

So according to Woj, it's as good as done. Trade call with the league scheduled at 7 PM ET

    Toronto: Gay and Haddadi
    Pistons: Calderon
Memphis: Prince, Daye, Davis and Tor's 2nd round pick

    Haddadi will get waived.

Dalembert has 13/12 in the 3rd qtr. Makes me wonder what was Skiles problem with Dalembert.

According to reports Skiles just wanted to get fired playing whatever matchup.

Human Hollinger probably doesn't care about Toronto being worse. Wonder if Simmons know which team Hollinger works for??

I doubt even Hollinger believes that that trade costs Toronto 6 wins though. It's more of a "wink, wink" implication that he uses his formula to make decisions.

The fact that Ed Davis and Calderon have such high PERs on such a bad team distorts the wins added for all teams involved lol

My Cousin-in-law from Toronto says that many of his friends don't like losing Ed Davis and Calderon. Fans loved seeing Ed Davis develop. It's akin to seeing PG blossom this season....and then trading him away for....well, Rudy Gay .

BTW.....I'm not comparing PG to Davis in terms of talent...I'm comparing the fans support for a Player that they have been waiting to see develop then finally when he does....he's shipped out.
Ash from Army of Darkness: Good...Bad...I'm the guy with the gun.

This is David West, he is the Honey Badger, West just doesn't give a *****....he's pretty bad *ss cuz he has no regard for any other Player or Team whatsoever.

According to Hollinger......it's a +3 in wins for both Detroit and Memphis.
