    The Warriors already have 9 road wins. That is impressive they are 9-3 on the road

    Warrios beat the Heat in Miami. They seem legit. I actually feel better about our loss to them earlier in the season

    I saw Magic on a tv show last night and was taken back by a comment he said. His comment was how much tougher a team the Warriors were this year, and felt it was due to Carl Landry. Landry's toughness had spilled over on others.

    I've always been a Landry fan, even when he was at Purdue, but I can't say I ever felt he was a tough player. I'm thinking in terms of Tyler Smashmouth BB. Maybe, I've missed something about Landry all these years.

    Jackson is doing better at coaching than I anticipated w/o any coaching experience.

    The name of Evan Turner is being mentioned as an Allstar candidate. There were many last year who felt he was a bust as a 1st round 2nd pick. Funny how things can change in regards to the play of players.

    I remember pretty well right before draft time when Jerry West said one of the things the Warriors had to change was that they had to get tougher. And he said they would address it during the offseason. Turns out he wasn't lying.

    Landry, Jack and Draymond Green have been the main guys responsible for the toughness factor. Warriors had next to none of that in prior years. They've definitely added to it. Really blown away about how much trust they've put into Green (a rookie 2nd rounder) and how he's not only in the rotation, but on the court down the stretch of close games.

    Keep in mind Landry had sort of down years the past two seasons. If he was entering free agency the way he was playing his last year in Houston, he would've gotten much better offers than he did.

    And I too am stunned by the results Mark Jackson has gotten. I viewed him as a gimmick hire; in some way still do, as there were more qualified people out there when they hired him. Do keep in mind that a big part of the success is due to Mike Malone. He's essentially the defensive coordinator of the team and the Warriors outbid the Lakers last year (he was Mike Brown's assistant in Cleveland) for his services. He's making about $2M to be an assistant, but he's been worth it. Recall that Malone was the guy who got it into Lebron's head that he needed to be a great defensive player in order to win a championship. At this rate, Malone will not be an assistant coach next season.

    It's amazing what happens when Stephen Curry gets 2 good ankles to play on. He was just really hobbled for the better part of the previous 2 years and people really forgot how good he was. He's basically picking up where he left off from the end of his rookie year.

    And not being forced into playing a gimmick lineup with known chucker Monta helps, too. Jackson has a better, more balanced roster to work with this year. Even with the injuries to Bogut and Rush (really feel bad for BRush).

    Two words. Klay. Thompson.

    With Curry and him in the backcourt, Barnes at SF, Lee at PF, Golden State is set for a few years (if only Bogut could play...)

    Well, the Raptors are in big time need of a shot blocker. Maybe he's trying out.

    @Memphis
    @Golden State
    @Portland
    @La Lakers

    Unreal.
    Absolutely brutal.

    Miami could very well have all "big 3" starting. And it's cool to see Tyson Chandler finally get some props, well deserved. Hopefully he doesn't get snubbed for 3rd straight year.

    Looks right to me. Except I would switch Duncan with Howard.

    Not sure where to put this, but Pacers Digest lightning rod John Hollinger is leaving ESPN to take a front office position with the Grizzlies. I know I am in the minority here, but I really enjoy Hollinger's work and will be sad to see him leave ESPN. If nothing else, his snark and sarcastic tweets will be missed.

    The Lakers are so awful. They currently look like a lottery team and they wouldn't even benefit from it because they gave their picks away.

    I didn't really expect that the old guy gamble that the Knicks took would work out. But it has worked out amazingly so far. They are providing some great leadership and stability. Plus, Felton actually plays good in NY.

    All in all, I have to eat some crow when it comes to the Knicks.

    Well, you won't be alone eating that New York crow alone. I remember lengthy arguments about how overrated Melo is, he's just a loser, a gunner, Granger is as good or better than him.

    Meanwhile he's having an MVP caliber season. 28-6-2 on 46.5% from the field, 44% from deep.
