I think the Pacers deal was there but once they made their moves and they used all their cap space there was nothing else they could do, according to reports Mayo wanted a long term deal close to 10mil a year I believe that if Larry is here he signs Mayo, he wanted him bad.
    That could fit the timeline.

I think he turned down Phoenix because remember that Phoenix signed EJ to a contract, Dallas to me was his last option, he is doing the exact thing Crawford did with Portland and now somebody is going to pay over 10mil for his services.
However, that doesn't fit the timeline. NOLA matched Phoenix's offer sheet before OJ signed with Dallas.

I don't think that OJ wanted a long-term deal. A long-term deal wouldn't make sense to him. He was buried in a bench and underutilized for much of his last two seasons. It just makes so much sense that he wanted a starter position on a short-term deal to showcase his talents and receive a big contract.

    lol

And both teams lose more games according to Hollinger, sounds like a great trade!....
"It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."

I'm sure LAC wouldn't accept, but I'd offer them Hibbert and Lance for DeAndre and Bledsoe.

I think they would think about it...a young talented SG and an upgrade at center? I would do that deal.

I don't. They wouldn't do Hibbert for Jordan, asking for Bledsoe for Lance would get us laughed at.

Hibbert doesn't fit their style at all.

Hibbert has negative value right now, and likely until he's a huge expiring. It's an awful contract. Here's an article dating all the way back to July calling it out as one of the worst in the league: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1...ntracts/page/5

calling Bleacher Report posts "articles" is no different than calling a post on Pacers Digest an "article"

Sure, fine, quibble over the word article if it makes you feel better, doesn't change that it's a bad contract and people knew it was a bad contract before the fact. Do you think any team in the league would send value for Hibbert right now?

Dirk is LOL as a broadcaster and FYI the Kings are a hot mess

"not bad for a little guy" Dirk on a DC coast to coast dunk

"Kaman showing what a true lead center is with 1 rebound Im gonna have to talk to him at halftime"

He just shouts random things it's so LOL. Then he tells great stories and in the middle of the story just cuts out and talks trash great broadcasting style. I could see him broadcasting after his career he does quite a few segments every year.

So Lin can't hit a spot up shot or be the secondary creator to save his life. But let him hog the ball full time, and he's ready to start a new Linsanity. Is this a confidence thing, some odd rhythm issue... We've been there too many times.

Read the article you posted again.

See how much the players it posted were / are making. 80 Million, 111 Million..

Hibbert's along with Wallace's were by far the cheapest. Moreover, Wallace was 32 when he inked that deal. Hibbert was 25 and a much better offensive player than Ben. Wallace was probably a better defender but Hibs is an elite rim protector. And he still got 2 Million less than Wallace.

So, no. Hibbert's contract is not a bad contract. It's the same as Marc Gasol's. Both contracts are quite fair for both sides (the players and the teams). They are not exactly "max" contracts.

Is he Hibbert underperforming and thus not earning his full contract? He surely is. But his contract is far from an albatross one.

And yes, teams would sent value for Hibbert right now.

Just wondering what you guys think...

Dikembe Mutumbo HoF or not? I say he's a lock but some people don't think defense alone gets you in. I think it does when you are that good at it.

Furious Bleacher Report Editor Will Make Staff Rank
Things All ****ing Night If He Has To

    DECEMBER 10, 2012 | ISSUE 48•50 |

SAN FRANCISCO—Frustrated with the poor quality of lists the website’s writers have produced as of late, BleacherReport.com editor Eric Briggs threatened Monday to force the staff to rank things “all ****ing night” if he had to. “What do you ****ing think this is? It’s Bleacher Report. Pick any ****ing sports **** and rank it,” said Briggs, before angrily slamming shut the laptop of a young writer he found working on a 4,000-word feature on the legacy of racial prejudice in tennis. “I don’t give a **** if you’re tired. Rank the ******* top 10 fingers on Tom Brady’s hands if you have to. Just **** something out, and people will click through it.” Briggs added that if he did not have 400 new lists ready to put up on the website the next morning, the staff could “say goodbye” to their “cushy-*** $5-a-post jobs.”

I think so because he was excellent at it for so long. And while he wasn't a great scorer, he wasn't ineffective on offense.

I should get paid for watching that game awful ball. Worst shooting game I have seen in awhile it was ugly. Wes Matthews missed his first game since HS talk about durable.

I don't know about, "only the raptors" for this one. I could see it with Cousins/Kings. Maybe Artest. Maybe Sheed.
