I'd just love to see Gasol on the Wolves. Gasol, Love, Rubio, Kirilenko, Barea, Shved, Ridnour, Budinger, good ol' Lou Amundson. That's just such an exciting team on paper. Energetic, unselfish, great shooting, mobile. Add Rick Adelman trying to reignite the '02 Kings.
    Make it happen.

Apparently their owner is even willing to go over tax for Gasol if necessary

Until Gasol is moved, count the Timberwolves as heavily interested. In fact, the source said ownership is willing to go over the luxury tax for the 2013-14 season if need be. Gasol is guaranteed $19,285,850 next year.

The writer said he was joking about them not knowing who Lincoln was, he didn't say anything about being shocked when he gets shot.

I don't think that Buss / Lakers will trade Pau Gasol to another Western Conference Team.

I'm not saying that it doesn't happen....but impact Players RARELY ever get traded to Teams in the same Conference.

That's probably their preference. But if that Pekovic/Williams offer is true, I don't think any other team could come close to it, just from assets point of view. In which case they'd probably take it, they already traded Gasol to a Western team once. The key would be finding that 3rd team to turn Pekovic into someone who fits the Lakers.

If Amare was a Pacers you would be hanging on his grapes stop it, a healthy Amare is better than anything the Pacers have.
Ha, you must really like throwing stuff out there so then you can play the "woe is me" card.

How is it a Amare is better than anything the Pacers have, yet the Pacers had 3 players better than him last year?

You know what's also good to know? Amare had the 72nd best PER in the NBA. There were 3 Pacers players ahead of him.

It's so refreshing to make a statement and to have something - anything - to back it up.

Artest and Ibaka got in a little shoving match so that led to Stephen Jackson talking crap about "Abaka" (sic, way to read those scouting reports) on twitter. In a way I respect Jax for still backing Ron's ignorant ***, and in a much bigger way Jax is just a dumbass.

darn, i guess Mayo and Harden were defending each other, 40 and 39 I'll have to check that game out.

it's amazing, Mayo is still at .500+ on 3s after 20 games.

I'm sure many of us would applaud pursuit of him. As always, the key question is, "How much would we be willing to give up for him" (that would be of interest to the Clips)?

Bledsoe is the guy I wanted to pick, my hope was for the Pacers to buy or trade for the OKC pick that year glad to see that he is doing well, I'm not sure he is a pure point guard but he is pretty damn good, he could be like an small version of Westbrook but with better passing.

The Pacers could use him for sure but they don't have the pieces to make anything happen.

You don't pursue Bledsoe if you don't plan to start him. I think we'll sit this one out.

I don't think that should preclude an inquiry on our part. If he's as good as some people think he is, we need to at least see what the asking price is. Worst case scenario, George Hill becomes the best Sixth Man in the league - and that's a move that wouldn't need to be made until Danny gets back from injury. As far as I can tell, from a contracts point of view, we wouldn't have to make the tough choices for another year - hopefully enough time for Bird's full recuperation.

He'll probably be priced out of our range, but we've got to make that call to see. These are the times when KP gets to do his thing.

All that said, we've already tried the CP3 backup route before with limited success, but you can't say you wouldn't make that trade again.

Oh, funny of you to say that.

How exactly did the Pacers screw up?

Did they screw up when they traded for him but the deal with the Grizzles fell apart? Did they screw up when they pursued him this off-season but he opted to go Dallas in order to be a start?

Just tell me exactly how the Pacers screwed up in this situation.

They didn't screw up. He accepted less money for a year to be a starter and raise his market value. But you just love to be inaccurate and negative all the damn time.
