They've got 10+ million to spend next summer plus some solid young guys. If Morey does nothing else the guy collects assets. Say the season continues being a disaster for the Lakers and they finally dump Pau, not ideal at all, but Lin/Harden/X (gotta demand Parsons in a deal, so Jones starting maybe)/Pau/Asik. That's an odd fit age wise and it's not about to get a title, but it's something at least. Maybe work an Amare deal. Morey's obviously not too risk averse.

Maybe just shed a little money and outright sign Josh Smith.
yep. they have over 15 mil when you discount the guys on non-guaranteed deals who are likely to be cut.

I think Pau makes sense for them. This free agency kind of sucks, they might be better off waiting till 2014/2015. Pau expires in 2014. At that point, they can target Miami guys, etc. That free agency could be good. If not, they can resign Pau at lower price, wait till 2015 and go after Kevin Love (Lin and Asik will be off the books by then).
They shouldn't settle for Josh Smith, Al Jefferson, etc, imo. They are in a great shape to get someone better within a couple years.

Derrick Williams didn't get off the bench tonight. I don't know what that's about, Love's been back and Williams still played big minutes and had a great game a couple nights ago. Adelman figuring out his rotation with Love maybe I guess.

William is a guy I would love to have he is not in the right place to be successful.

that big game was two games ago. Adelman shut him down as soon as Love got back.
It's a bit sad really, you have a rough stretch of games, then you seemingly break out of the slump with a good game, and then you are out of the rotation entirely.
To be fair, Williams isn't an Adelman type player, he stops the ball too much and passes too little.

Drummond with 13/13 last night going against Valanciunas.

Maybe, at some point his coach might take the training wheels off and freaking start him.

Also, Greg Monroe with another criminally under-appreciated 19/11/5 night, which is very close to an average game for him now.

Hopefully Greg Monroe continues to be a "good stats, horrible team" guy.

The apathy for the Pistons up here is pretty striking. I am in Detroit quite a bit and know a lot of people in the area and none of them seem to give a **** about the Pistons. Sucks.

Just a matter of time before he gets hurt again. Golden State rolled the dice there, but Bogut has proven he is made of glass. It's really a shame, because they are a pretty enticing team on paper.

Chandler Parsons can ball. Disagree if you want on Morey's team building philosophy, but dude can draft in the 2nd round.
The Rockets need to win a championship soon so we can get a basketball version of Moneyball.

FRAK......I'm hoping that Bogut sits another day....I don't want him to abuse the fragile psyche of Hibbert on the only game of the year that I get to see the Pacers

BTW...just got back from the Warriors/TWolves game. The Warriors are doing pretty good this year and appear to be able to close games pretty well. I really hope that Hibbert and PG figure out some consistency in their game between now and Saturday. The Warriors aren't a pushover Team anymore....they have a pretty good Team that can become one of those "Lottery Teams that can become a Playoff Bubble" Team if Teams sleep on them. Either way...I pray that the Pacers at least put up a good fight next Saturday.

MKG, Davis, Lillard, Barnes, Drummond and a few more....the rookie class this year has been really good thus far.

A lot of good top picks too. That's nice to see. Not a lot of potential busts.

sadly, after hiring the best doctors, they didn't have enough money for good management.

Not a fan of the Barclays Center. Really Brooklyn's entire aesthetic. Uniforms are terrible. The herringbone floor's an odd look, makes the court look small or something.

Good game between Brooklyn and NY, no way the Pacers have a chance to beat those teams.
