tweets by anchor for local Miami Sports station:

Fans streaming out...I'm gonna throw up

Honestly embarrassing. I'm setting up for my live shot outside the arena, just watching fan after fan exit early.

Now I'm watching horrible, drunk, quitting fans desperately trying to get back in. This is madness.

Cops finally here. Fans still pounding on the doors begging to be let in.

I was born and raised in Miami. I used to hate the national perspective against Heat fans but I can't fight it anymore.

Reminiscent of all the tail lights in the parking lot during Gibson's HR to beat the A's. I love it!

Utter hilarity is the guy wearing the Ray Allen throwback Milwaukee Bucks jersey, fleeing for the exits, shortly before Ray Allen makes one of the very biggest shots of his long career.

I mean hell, even if it were a blowout loss, it's the last game of the year. Sure it would've meant no title, but that's still obviously a really good year. You stay til the final buzzer and applaud that.

I love it. hate when people leave early. I mean if it is 15 point deficit with 10 seconds to go and you want to get out of your seat and make your way out, OK, but with 28 seconds left and down 4. no way. would not consider doing that during a regular season game

It's tougher for Indy sports fans to leave early. I mean, we've seen Peyton and Reggie comebacks, there's always a chance.

I was at the Fieldhouse for one of our last games of the season where we played the Cavs. We were down 20 with 9 minutes to go and a good percentage of the crowd started heading for the exits. I sorta understood that (many in the crowd had kids that had school the next day). We ended up winning that game.

Leaving an NBA finals game when your team has 28 seconds to come back from 5 points and you have Lebron is inexcusable.

I didn't consider shutting the tv off when I had to get up at 6:00 am to work a 10hr shift and I don't even like them. What is wrong with those people.

That is exactly right. Because the fact was the game's outcome had not been decided yet. i never think trailing by 5 with the ball and with 28 seconds on the clock is a game that has been decided.

I love the black dude two people above the guy in the Bucks jersey. His eyes are still wide in shock that Miami lost.

I was watching at 1:00 AM via DVR dead tired from lack of sleep the night before but I didn't once consider shutting it off. Did I mention that the DVR quit recording with 48 seconds to go in OT?

Wow, I never leave early, unless forced by the people I am with, but I am usually pretty understanding when people do cause usually people don't leave when their team still has a good chance unless they have young kids or something extremely important. That though is just inexcusable. There is no reason to leave early at all. It would take an act of God himself to get me to leave at that moment.

I know, this wasn't even Reggie Miller's comeback or Peyton Manning against the Bucs. Surreal they would leave then.

I hope everyone that was up on their high horses coming down on Boyle can now admit that their miniature ponies didn't even have a leg to stand on.

I mean you technically still have a shot at two full possessions without having to foul in that scenario and it's a two possession. There was zero reason to leave, but I am glad they did because it is one of the funniest damn things I have ever seen.

Miami is a city with a ton of transplants. A lot of these people probably aren't diehard Heat fans and just go because it's something to do.

I think that's why Atlanta has always struggled with fan support. A huge percentage of people that live in Atlanta are transplants who have no loyalties to Atlanta's teams.

That's part of it, the other part is that the south is just **** for pro sport support in general. They love college sports down there. I don't even know what the most well supported southern pro sports team would be. Even the Braves could never get consistent sell outs in the 90s.

If you haven't gone to the Deadspin site in the OP you need to. There are so many great videos including the news anchors on Miami tv station WPLG calling the fans who left early idiots.

I have to admit that it was awesome to see them get called out. This is one of my pet peeves. I usually don't even leave if the Pacers are getting blown out and I have a 2 hour ride back to Cincy most of the time.

Larry is not coming back, he didn't have a meeting with Orlando for not reason, yeah he is coming back to the NBA but not to the Pacers, the notion that he is a taking a year off and then come back is absurd.

Chris Bosh to the fans that left Game 6 early: 'Don't come to Game 7'
By Royce Young | NBA writer

MIAMI -- Chris Bosh was direct when asked about the hundreds of Heat fans that hit the exits early and missed a classic end to Game 6.

"For all those [fans] who left, make sure you don't come to Game 7," he said.

Wow. That's a far cry from the way GHill called out Indy fans to stay at the game, telling people not to bother to show up. But, it's Bosh, and they are winning a championship, so he'll still be a hero for saying it.

I was reading that once Heat fans that physically left the building and realized that the game wasn't over and wanted back in....the Arena officials at the door wouldn't let them in cuz of their "No Re-Entry" policy.
