I am probably crazy for saying this, but there is no way I would trade George Hill for Rubio.

Rondo should be above Parker at this point in their careers IMO. I think you can make the argument Rondo should be over Westbrook depending on what style you prefer. I think Nash is about where he should be.

I totally disagree about Tony Parker below Rondo for now. Parker was in the MVP discussion last year IMO(obviously LBJ was the and deserved it but Parker was top 5 IMO) I don't know if he got votes but he should of. Rondo may pass him this year but these rankings have to take last year into account in a huge way and if anything TP is underrated. He is the player who makes the Spurs tick he plays when the older guys rest and he leads them to wins in those games.

And yes whoever said they wouldn't trade Hill for Rubio you answered your own question your loco but I like the team spirit

It'll be interesting to see how D.Rose stacks up AFTER his injury. If he loses some of that speed and explosiveness, he's gonna fall.

And yes, the only PG better than Rondo is CP3. Rondo is a baaaaaad man, who always rises to the occasion in big games.

D-Will is kind of overrated to me. This year will be a good gage of how good he really is.

You must be talking about fit, because talent-wise I don't think there's much of a debate. Regardless, I think I'd still take Rubio, despite his flawed defensive game.

Actually I think you could make a good case that Hill is a better all-around player than Rubio is. I mean Hill obviously isn't a better PG, but I do think there is an argument to be made he is a better player.

If you're open to it, I'd like you to make that argument. Clearly, I don't agree with that assessment, so I'd like to see it from you point of view.

you mean flawed offensive game? shooting and such. his defense is pretty close to awesome.

His on-ball defense? I mean, he's no D.J. Augustin, but he has a tendency to be beaten off the dribble from what I've seen and I don't think he's not strong enough to bang with the bigger point guards just yet. I would imagine - though I haven't seen too much of him to be honest - that he's more of a passing lanes gambler (like Larry Hughes) than a lock-down defender. I will admit that his defense is probably underrated and his offense overrated, but I don't think it's time to flip the script as you've done.

i think he's awesome at keeping his man in front of him, actually. Plus he's much bigger, longer and smarter than most point guards and uses it to his advantage defensively. And high energy level.

I just believe that defense is important. You will get absolutely nothing out of Rubio here.

Anybody in the top 8 could legitimately be considered a top-20 overall player. Pretty remarkable.

    Here is my list:

1 CP3, best point guard in the NBA for sure but his defense is decent.

2 Rondo, I think he is second best because of the whole package, great defense, great passing, decent scorer.

3 Dwill, he should be the best point guard but sometimes he doesn't play like it.

4 Westbrook, amazing player that can do many things, he needs to get better at making his teammates better.

    5 Nash.

    6 Parker.

    7 Kyrie

    8 Lawson

    9 Wall

10 Rubio/Rose, they are both hurt so I don't even know why they are on the list? we don't even know if Rose is even playing this year.

Over CP3, Deron, Rose, Westbrook, and Tony Parker. (although I might take CP3 or Rose ahead of him. )

I don't really agree with the rankings other than the final 3.

My top 5 would probably be 1. Rondo, 2. CP3, 3. Rose, 4. Parker 5. Williams (although I'd be tempted to put Nash in the 4th or 5th spot.) Westbrook has all the ability to be in the top 3, except mentally he's not there.

You know for all the hype PG's get anymore, I believe the only PG on that list with a championship is Parker, and he has probably never been better than the third best player on his team.

Rondo has a championship ring too - but you could argue that Rondo was the 4th best Celtic at the time.
