Congrats to the Indiana Fever and especially Catchings, Katie Douglas, Tammy Sutton Brown, and Lynn Dunn.
It was a great run and I'm glad they won it the way they won it - as an underdog, at home in front of a soldout crowd of fans, on ESPN, on a Sunday night. It doesn't get much better than that.

I'm done with the WNBA for obvious reasons, but congrats all the same to Tamika. I loved her toughness back in the day. She deserved a championship ring.
Nice job A55/G2.
What a great run. I was most impressed at how Phillips and Zellous stepped up for this run. Zellous had a poor shooting night, but in the end that great drive and dump by Phillips for the only Zellous 3pt of the night basically sealed the deal. Zellous was a lot of fun to root for, great energy and emotion. That hug with her and Katie was the moment of the night for me.
Tamika has had a Peyton career to me. All those years of being one of the elite players, having teams make runs and come up short, and finally at a point pretty late in her career it finally gets done. I hope it won't be too Peyton like and end up being the only title for Indy.
Whalen was just awesome for the Lynx. Good thing Briaan brought the hammer to Augustus. It was a nice quickness matchup by Dunn.
Heckava Indy weekend. Great weather and then 3 straight wins downtown in about 24 hours. I wonder how many people double dipped the Colts/Fever? I wish I had.
Gotta jump in with big props for Larkins. She more-or-less came out of nowhere to be what I think was the difference maker for the Fever between this season and last season.
I was awfully tempted but had a meeting and didn't want to be frantically rushing to meet up with a ride into the game.
Listened to it on the radio while digging in the yard - a perfect football day, really.
Another night, another backside-kicking. They just hit you from so many sides, now, in waves. It's like a cavalry, running down hill and trampling you underfoot. You have no tactical advantage, you're just swinging wildly in the mud, and the best strategy might be to play dead.
They are an absolute onslaught right now.
