Colts will be tough at home this season for just about anyone I think. Weeden is an easily rattled QB. I think you will see a couple costly false starts and delay of games on the Browns.

Browns have some momentum, Colts don't. And Colts D I believe will devolve into routinely playing more like last week than some of it's earlier decent showings.

Keep in mind that a lot of that had to do with Reddings injury. He seems to be the glue to the line and certainly not having Mathis hurts as well. When Redding comes back I expect the line to perform better but the Browns are a tall order in the running game. The X factor IMO is the injury to Trent Richardsons ribs. That alone could decide the game.

Hardesty was is nothing to sneeze at either.

I mean with our Run D we tend to make no names look like Barry Sanders.

    Hmmmm.....

Colts just had a bad loss, probly pretty mad about it.
Browns just had first win, probly gonna come down off that.
    It's at Indy.
Indy's strength thus far has actually been pass defense, we're 3rd in the league, and V Davis is supposed to be back. That matches up well with a rook QB on Cleveland's side and some iffy receivers.
Indy's weakness, run defense, is facing a dinged up Trent Richardson and Cleveland's run game is actually worse than Indy's.

We do have Mathis and Fili out, and Redding and Angerer are questionable. So that will have a bearing on how our D looks.

I feel like there's a lot pointing to a Colts win.

If Redding and Angerer play, I think we win this one pretty handily. 30-14.
If we don't have Redding and/or Angerer, it might get closer. Our run defense was incredible worse without Redding in the last game.

Either way, this should be a win. Only way it isn't is if we wet the bed again.
There are two types of quarterbacks in the league: Those whom over time, the league figures out ... and those who figure out the league.

    Browns- 20

The Luck to Wayne connection is restored and Reggie has a big game. Avery has a long touchdown reception. We play solid but not spectacular D and stop the run as a first priority. Weeden throws a pick in the 4th quarter and we play a little ground and pound with our young RB's and salt the game away.

No score prediction but I will predict the game will be on television in the local market. Yes my friends the Luke did sell out so there will be Colts football if you didn't have a ticket.

I truly fear what Trent Richardson can do against our non existent run defense. If Green can drop 100+ game on us I cannot imagine what Trent could be capable of. If we can slow him down and force Weeden to throw the ball we should be able to force him into mistakes early and often.

Joe Haden is back and I am sure will be lined up with Reggie all day. Reggie is going to have to win his match up because outside of him our WRs are pretty average so he will need to be the one making plays.

According to Indystar's Mike Chappell, here's an injury breakdown for the game:

OUT - Mathis, Butler, Redding, Tevaseu, Brown, Moala

IN - Angerer is expected to play limited snaps; Vontae Davis is expected to be back as a starter.

Getting Davis back will be nice. Not having Mathis and Redding is a huge hit. They're our best pass rusher and our best run stuffer. The Browns just got some good news.

Pinkston’s blood clot in his lung, he remains in hospital

Posted by Darin Gantt on October 19, 2012, 4:27 PM EDT

    AP
We mentioned earlier that Browns left guard Jason Pinkston was hospitalized with a blood clot, and would miss at least this week’s game with the Colts.

With more details emerging, whether he plays again this year becomes less and less important.

According to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Pinkston has been admitted to the Cleveland Clinic with a blood clot in his lung.

“As we go through next week, we’ll determine if he’s going to miss an extended period of time,” Browns coach Pat Shurmur said.

Pinkston was taken to the emergency room Thursday where the clot was discovered, and he was immediately admitted to the hospital, where he’s getting aggressive treatment with blood thinners.

He was seen getting sick on the sidelines last Sunday, but he thought he had pneumonia. He then tried to practice Wednesday, but couldn’t make it through.

“At this point, we’re more concerned with Jason’s well-being than anything else,” his agent Neil Schwartz said. “We’re taking it one step at a time.”

Teammates have visited him, and tried to keep his spirits up.

“He’s definitely been struggling with something for a couiple of weeks, so there obviously a concern just to find out what was going on,” left tackle Joe Thomas said. “Hopefully they’ve got it under control and are able to help him start feeling better here shortly. He’s definitely in our thoughts and we’ll definitely keep him in our thoughts as long as he’s out.”

He’ll remain in the hospital while doctors try to determine what caused the clot in the first place.
