If the Reds really end up going home and losing three In a row I'm going to go in a short depression until the Pacers season starts

Baker made a terrible decision to not start latos, then put Arredondo in when we needed good pitching. Terrible decisions

Girardi made a good move by pinch-hitting Ibanez for A-Rod. Ibanez hit the game tying homer, and later the game winning homer. Incredible.

Yankee bats looked like crap all night. Gonzalez completely owned them. Kuroda pitched great for the Yanks too. He has struggled to get run support all season long.

Gotta respect what the Cardinals are doing. No La Russa or Pujols? No problem. They just keep winning. They add Beltran, who ended up having two more home runs than Pujols. He obviously isn't as great as Pujols, but he's a pretty good bargain and adds a lot of power to the lineup. They could have done a lot worse, that's for sure.

    Keep us posted.

I have seen a lot of questionable Dusty Baker calls this series. Bochy is managing circles around him. **** sucks. I actually think the Reds can come back, but that wildly retarded double steal/hit and run was a) a bad call to begin with and b) completely and utterly ****ed up by Hanigan. You can't take that pitch. Jay Bruce was running, not Drew Stubbs.

The loss of Cueto hurt, but the loss of Votto was even worse. I would wager he is maybe 70% healthy--maybe.

Kudos to Brandon Phillips and Ryan Ludwick in this series. They have done it all--especially Phillips. Arroyo and Bailey were outstanding too.

Goats: Dusty Baker, Joey Votto's injury, Mike Leake, the vaunted bullpen.

Damn it Reds my dad and i were planning on getting out there to catch a cardinals game if they advance. Ugh and on top of that the Cards offense disappeared.

I know quite a few people who like the Reds, so I kinda wanted to see them do well. I thought that series was going to be a sweep after the first two games in Frisco. I guarantee you that most Giants fans didn't think they were coming back to AT&T this season.

Wow, didn't expect the Reds to falter.

I'm still recovering from last night's Orioles-Yankees game. To make matters worse, I got caught channel-changing. A friend was over and wanted to see some of the Tigers-A's game, and I had just switched back and I was wondering why they were showing the Ibanez home run again when I realized he had hit a second homer.

Numbers, numbers - I didn't have a good feeling going into extra innings knowing the only team that had beaten the Orioles in extra innings this year were the Yankees. The only solace I have is the Orioles took two of three (percentage-wise) in New York this year and that's what they'll have to do to advance.

I seriously will assume the MLB is rigged if Joyce umps another in the playoffs. Nats went two innings without even bothering to throw strikes because he called everything one for them. But then he sent nats players to base with pitches in the strike zone

Omg, just got back from Cincy from watching the Reds game. IM IN A GLASS CASE OF EMOTION. I was numb the whole car ride back, did that really just happen? Up 2-0 then lose 3 straight at home? Have we really never won a playoff game in GABP? It's stunning. The whole crowd just stood there in silence for a moment after Rolen struck out to end the game. All of us thinking to ourselves, is this real? Did that just happen? As we watched the Giants players rush onto the field. Man its frustrating to be so good and fall so short.
