In related news, Philly drops significantly in power rankings.
If games are won and lost on a calculator and piece of paper, then why do we bother to play them?

Even with a healthy Bynum, I don't buy the #7 rating.
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

    Enjoy your time at PD!

Bynum's extremely talented. But also extremely injury prone and frustrating.

I liked Philly better before they added Bynum. Not a fan of Bynum, think he's over-rated. Maturity/attitude and health issues are the main culprit.
There are two types of quarterbacks in the league: Those whom over time, the league figures out ... and those who figure out the league.

I just watched an interview with him on NBA tv & I swear to God he is the spitting image in the face of Kenan Thompson from SNL.

He also looked really out of shape.

Hmmmm.... And the Pacers continue to climb the standings.... Some say they are two rather evenly-matched teams, but this gives the Pacers a leg up over the Sixers. Arnett Moultrie, Dan Gadzuric, and Kwame Brown aren't going to have ANYTHING on Roy, Miles, and Ian. Hell, I'm pretty sure Pendergraph could handled Brown and Gadz himself.

Our arena, their arena, Rucker park, it just doesn't matter. We're bigger, longer, younger, faster, and hungrier.

It looks like Bynum and Danny got the same procedure done this off season, it looks like a precautionary thing.

Hawes is not that bad either.

He is not bad by any means but he isn't a traditional Center either.

Multiple knee issues with a young center...always makes me nervous. Glad I'm not a Philly fan.

Who has a traditional center in this new NBA? The point is that the guy is not an scrub, he is pretty good when healthy and before he got hurt last year he was on his way to his first all star appearance, nice plan B for Philly if you ask me.

I see that the use of traditional confused you.

    Let me clear this out.

Traditional Center = Basically a Center that gets the majority of his points inside the paint.

Spencer Hawes is mostly a shooter. Like Andrea Bargnani. They are good at what they do and good players in general but their style does not exactly fit their position. That's why they are not "traditional Centers".

    Hope that this made sense.

The guy showed up to Philadelphia in Lakers gear, maybe he is Kenan and is just trolling us all.

No he wasn't. Maybe MIP candidate, but that means he was going to beat Roy out of the All-Star spot. And that wasn't going to happen. Maybe in a 10 game stretch he was averaging 9 pts and 8 rebs. But he was not an All-Star. Not even close.

He'll be out of the league in three years. I can't believe LA didn't want to trade him. He had to get lubricants injected into his knees.....at 24.
