It was essentially about whether or not it makes sense to take a kicker before the last round.

Obvioulsy, this isn't the case in any way, shape, or form.

I know someone mentioned that David Akers was worth like a 6th round pick or something. Good times.
I will admit the top end kickers have created a little bit of space this season. A whopping 3 PPG or so for the most part. But top end QBs or RBs are still creating a difference of about 6 or 7 points per over even a 9 or 10 QB and RB.

Yes. I also have BGE and Bengals D. Which honestly having the law firm was my biggest concern about also going Dalton, they might poach each other for me, but we'll see.

You're in a much different mental state than I am then because I'm playing against BGE and the Bengals D. :/

The guy I'm playing tonight has Bryce Brown. This is the championship for this league.

Nice. Mine is just the semi-final. I'm playing for a shot in the title game next week.

I knew it was possible that he might not play particularly great and put up something like 15 or 16, but this is just complete devastation right now. I'm going to be finished if he can't start completing some passes.

I have a feeling the Dalton over Romo decision will haunt me for a while.....

I'd almost have a cakewalk to the finals in our league if it wasn't for that Seattle D last week. Our playoffs are a 2 week per bracket format and my opponent got 41 points out of his defense. That was enough to get him within 16 points of my score of 102.

He had 3 players that got him ZERO in his lineup.

Unfortunately, this week is not as good for me so not really sure how I will do. 16 points isn't much of a pad heading into the 2nd weekend.

I have Brees, Colston, and Sproles all starting which could be golden... or could be uh oh...

I currently have Garcon slotted in to start. The 'scouting' says to worry about Garcon if RG3 doesn't play. I could play Decker, Givens, or Avery in his place.... or Golden Tate. Decker is tempting in his place but Decker has a tougher D to play against and has been 2nd fiddle for much of the season.
Nuntius was right. I was wrong. Frank Vogel has retained his job.

As a Redskins fan I would play Garcon.

Then again, I only had fantasy one year (this year) and I am 1-12. I actually thought I wouldn't win a game, but I pulled a win out in week 12.

I'd start Garcon. Don't read too much into my opinion though because I started a QB tonight who has negative points in the second half. Unbelievable, I'm on an 8 game winning streak, had the best record in the league and a bye, but am going to lose because of a beyond hideous performance from a QB. Why do I get so into this?

Josh Freeman is going to put up like 40 on the Saints now. Just watch.

Yeah I'm 100% certain now that Romo will put up a bunch of points. Even if the Steelers pick him off a couple of times (I'm sure they will), he'll still get a couple of TDs and a bunch of yards, which is respectable in a fantasy league.

Sorry TJ if I swayed you to jump off of the cliff with me.

I have Romo on my bench. I started worrying about Brees after that game a couple of weeks ago and Romo was available. Brees' played so bad I was afraid of finding out he had an injury or something. Looks like a slump now. Hopefully this game he will turn it around.

How many teams are in your league? Romo hasn't had a particularly great season, but I'm still very surprised that he wasn't on anyone's roster. That's some solid insurance at least. You always need two capable QBs on your team because you never know when one can go down.

Dalton touchdown to Green. It's been a disappointing night, TJ, but at least it's not as catastrophic as it initially looked.

    10 team league.

I had him on the bench at the beginning of the year and then ended up punting him for a flyer I took on Rivers for a game. That didn't turn out well.

Our league uses the Team QB rule so if your starter goes down you automatically get the backup who comes in. So if your QB gets knocked out of the game on the first play you don't necessarily end up screwed for the game. You get the backup. I think that makes people feel a little better about how they use the bench for QB's over the season. Especially if you have any confidence in the 2nd stringer for a week or two. Plus with 10 teams even teams keeping 2 TQB's is about the max so there's usually someone floating around decent available on the waiver wire.
