That's all well and good, but it's not like he's running it extremely well. 53% completion percentage, 9 TO's, 21st ranking in PPG. It's impressive that we can run the no huddle, but if it's not effective nor efficient then what's it matter.
That's not correct, he's not running the no huddle all the time. He started doing it heavily in game 4 against the Pack. Before that he ran it mostly in the 2-minute drill. And he's ran it extremely well. You listed his overall stats, which don't reflect how well he is in the no-huddle exclusively.

We are so spoiled as Colts fans if we think Luck is having anything short of an amazing start to his rookie year. If Luck keeps even just this pace up it would be one of the best rookie seasons for a QB ever.

That video was pretty heartbreaking and awesome at the same time. I couldn't help being sad to see it was the Jaguars game. It's too bad it couldn't have been the Packers game. I'm sure he had 0 complaints, of course, but I just wanted it to be the Packers game. How awesome would that have been for him?

You would think someone in his position would just be crushed by the decision to let go of Manning. But he just accepts the change and wants to meet the new guy (Luck) who will keep it going even when he's no longer around to see it.

Luck has been very impressive to me as a rookie QB. I am surprised by his poise, pocket awareness and his atheticism. He reminds me of another rookie QB that the blue and white had a while back, except he is a bit more polished at this stage and he might not have the super cannon arm but his intelligence has me very impressed.

He does? He has already played better than George ever did. He also graduated from college in three years and that is something that neither George or Luck did....

Luck got a 4 year degree at Stanford, RG3 got a degree at Baylor. I'll pick the Stanford guy smart one.

    Rookie rankings:

    Luck #1:
    http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap100...ankings-throne
Interestingly, RG3 is #3. I actually agree with that. I love Russell Wilson, and while he's had some rockiness here and there, what I see in that kid is a VERY good QB in a few years. Where Luck is like a mobile Manning.... Wilson is like a mobile Brees. Props to nfl.com for having some balls and not getting sucked into the RG3 hype.

    RG3 #1:
    http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/story...bay-buccaneers

What cracks me up is that RG3 has lost two straight games and not looked very good in the process, and yet Luck as won the last two, looking very good. What in the world is ESPN thinking on this one? The RG3 hype is exactly that.

What cracks me up is that you didn't watch the games. He looked GREAT against the Giants and he had that team beat but his defense gave up a long bomb to lose the game.

He was fine against the Steelers. He receivers dropped 10 passes (NFL statistic, not my observation) for the most for any game by any team this years. RGIII hit all of those passes on the button. He looked just fine. He will look even better this coming week......

Guess it depends on your priority.... Stanford is ranked #6 in the nation according to the US News and World Report. I guess he could have went to a better school like #1 Harvard, #2 Princeton, #3 Yale or the school Stanford was tied with MIT.

OlBlu saying he would take the guy who graduated with a bloody poli sci degree from Baylor over the guy who graduated with an architecture degree from Stanford and was the Academic All America of the Year is the tops.

Also, has it really come to this?

So what?? You just want to run down the fact that RGIII graduated in three years while playing football. I already know Luck and RGIII scores on the intelligence tests given by the NFL. They were both high. RGIII was 24, Luck was 36. Compare this to Vince Young at 3......

Lets say Luck and Griffin get taken out with a career ending injury. Who will have the better chance of going on in life without football with a job that will support them? Luck made a smart choice.

I think they both will do very well. I think RGIII has a signicant personality advantage that might mean big money in broadcasting.....

Not if Luck runs around naked on the football field. Just saying.
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.
