I am sure they would not trade him. Besides being the best football player in the NFL, he is a marketing dream....... I was just seeing that Peyton Manning has people watching the Denver team at a record pace. That is another thing the Colts lost. They are no longer in the limelight nationally. The game on Thursday night could be a horror show viewership wise....
If Luck keeps it up, attention won't be an issue.

Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

I think both players have been fun to watch, frankly. What a lucky year we've had with QBs, all 5 really.

So here's a question for the folks in the peanut gallery regarding Luck so far, what has been the single most surprising thing about his game that you did not expect when we drafted him or even after his fairly impressive preseason?
His poise and pocket awareness are out of this world. Aside from the Bear's game, his awareness in the pocket has been absolutely incredible. The Miami game was a great example of this. He looked like Peyton Manning out there, stepping up and throwing like he has eyes in the back and sides of his head. I mean, it's unreal to see a rookie doing that and still staying focused down field and going through his progressions.

    http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/story...rookie-runners

Ranking Player, position (draft position) Last week
    1
Andrew Luck, Colts QB (first round, No. 1)
What did Luck do in Week 9? He threw for an amazing 433 yards (a new rookie single-game record) en route to defeating Miami and putting his Colts squarely in the conversation for an AFC wild card. Luck has now thrown for 290 yards or more in six games. Stats don't always tell the story, but that is pretty impressive.
    2
    2
Doug Martin, Buccaneers RB (first round, No. 31)
Even with Carl Nicks, Tampa Bay's best offensive lineman and a great run-blocker, out of the lineup, Martin put on an absolute show against the Raiders. Martin did run through some gigantic holes, but his ability to rip off three long touchdowns really makes you take notice.
    5
    3
Robert Griffin III, Redskins QB (first round, No. 2)
RG3 is very light on quality receiving options right now, the right tackle spot for Washington is a mess and he injured his ribs early against Carolina. So this bye week might be coming at the right time for the rookie and his Redskins.
    1
    4
Chandler Jones, Patriots DE (first round, No. 21)
Jones was on bye in Week 9, so there isn't much to report here, but Luke Kuechly and Bobby Wagner are zooming in on his Defensive Rookie of the Year award.
    3
    5
Trent Richardson, Browns RB (first round, No. 3)
The Browns nearly upset Baltimore in Week 9, and Richardson's 25-carry, 136-yard effort had a lot to do with that. There were no signs his ribs were bothering him in any way. Richardson has had just two subpar outings as a pro, and injuries were the culprit for both of those performances.
    6
    6
Ryan Tannehill, Dolphins QB (first round, No. 8)
Tannehill played hurt in Week 9. Still, he nearly led the Dolphins to a road win over Luck's Colts, throwing for 290 yards. All I could think about while watching this game is that these two signal-callers are going to do battle -- with superior supporting casts -- for years to come in the AFC.
    4
    7
Russell Wilson, Seahawks QB (third round, No. 75)
Wilson has been quite productive over the past two weeks and is growing rapidly as a quarterback overall. Slowly, the Seahawks' coaching staff is giving him more to handle -- and he has responded very well. Another new development for the ever-improving Wilson was much more use of the shotgun, which didn't hinder his effectiveness.

Haha, don't look now, but... Luck for MVP?

    http://espn.go.com/blog/nfcwest/post...s-mvp-watch-62

    5. ANDREW LUCK

Quarterback | Indianapolis Colts ... Next Game: 11/8 at JAC ... Last Poll: NR
Luck makes his MVP Watch debut after setting an NFL single-game rookie record with 433 passing yards during a memorable home victory over the Miami Dolphins. ESPN's metrics have been telling us for weeks that Luck was outplaying Robert Griffin III in spite of what traditional stats said. For example, Luck's passes are traveling 10.2 yards past the line of scrimmage on average, the highest figure in the NFL. He has completed 16 of 43 passes on throws traveling more than 20 yards downfield. The level of difficulty is tougher for Luck than it is for many other quarterbacks, in other words.

Andrew Luck's jersey arrives at HOF

    Updated: November 8, 2012, 11:01 AM ET
    Associated Press

INDIANAPOLIS -- Eight games into his rookie season, Andrew Luck has already made it into the NFL's Hall of Fame.

    AFC South blog

ESPN.com's Paul Kuharsky writes about all things AFC South in his division blog. Blog network: NFL Nation

Or at least his jersey has.
The No. 12 shirt worn by Luck during Sunday's record-setting game against Miami arrived in Canton, Ohio, on Wednesday and will be displayed in the Hall of Fame's Pro Football Today Gallery.
Luck threw for 433 yards, a single-game rookie record, and tied Peyton Manning as the only quarterbacks in league history to produce four 300-yard games during their rookie seasons. Luck broke Cam Newton's single-game mark of 432 yards set last year.
If Luck keeps this up, Hall of Fame officials soon will have him on speed dial. The No. 1 draft pick is on pace to set rookie records for completions, yards and attempts.

    Wrong.

Are you finally starting to realize how idiotic you are with the things you write ??

ANYONE that doesn't realize that Luck is FAR superior to Griffin in every category (except endorsements ) simply doesn't understand the game of football.

The number 1 way to tell that Luck is better than RG3 is that Skip Bayless believes that RG3 is better And skip is always wrong.

I'd pay good money to witness the unintentional hilarity that would be OlBlu vs. Skip Bayless in a game of JEOPARDY! My guess is the winner would be whichever one rings in less, thereby having less wrong answers, and a lower negative score.

In the weeks leading up to the 2012 draft, one team called Indianapolis and actually told it to name its price, to come up with a package it wanted in return for the No. 1 pick. That team was willing to ship off all its picks, plus players, for the chance to draft Luck. It would surrender one of the richest, if not the richest, packages in NFL history. But Indianapolis never even responded with a proposal. It wanted Luck.
    Anyone seen that quote before?
