Ironic but very possible I might add.

Don't know if the Texans have been on a meltdown lately after the New England pounding but they weren't good against us either. They should thank Moore for that ridiculous fumble 1yd away from the end zone and the stupidity ( in that game) of our special teams. Now they lost to Vikings at home.
maybe they are just tired and running out of steam down the stretch?
    its possible i suppose.

And an MVP hasn't won an SB the same year since 1999 you can make any narrative... that being said I think whoever wins the NFC will win it all I find them to be a much tougher conference than the AFC.

I always forget that 08 Titans team started out 10-0 and won 13 games. That was such an anomaly.

For a strange and completely wrong reason, I always liken the NFC to the West conference of the NBA and the AFC to the East.

Hopefully the Colts can beat the Texans and give Denver the #1 seed.

thus also giving the Patriots a #2 seed (if they beat Miami)!

Build him up so when Manning knocks the Pats over they have further to fall

Yep, I said early in the season that a healthy Peyton could make them a SB contender, and that's exactly what they are.

The playoffs are going to be a blast this year. There are about half a dozen legit contenders.

LOL. Greatest game sign ever. For those who missed it, some Denver fan had one of those signs designed to get on TV where they take the CBS initials and make something witty. It read:

    Card
    Board
    Sign

I don't care who ya are that's funny right there...

Peyton is out of the game up 35-3. The rookie Osweiler about to take his first snaps of the season in a non victory formation way.

Manning has 37 TDs, which is the second highest total of his legendary career.

No, but Manning having what is probably the second best season of his decorated career should matter in the MVP vote. It's not like he's come back and just played "very well". Instead, he has come back and played even better than most of his seasons in Indy. Denver was "decent" last year, but Manning has made them much much better.

I don't see why "logically it has to favor Brady right now". Their records are identical. Brady has a tiny edge in yards and passer rating. Manning has a tiny edge in touchdowns and completion percentages. Brady has a decent edge in interceptions, as he has 3 to Manning's 8. However, 3 of Manning's 8 came in the Atlanta game. Maybe I'm making an excuse for him, but that was just his second game back from a brutal injury/surgery that cost him the entire season last year. Plus he was on a brand new team and working with new personnel. It's clear that the Manning playing right now is much much better than the Manning who played in Atlanta. Heck, after that game, people were already ready to write him off. You hear no such talk now.

I think it's virtually tied right now, and I have no problem with giving Brady the MVP, as I said. But I'm not going to hand it to Brady right now just because he has 5 less interceptions, when they have identical records and virtually all of their other statistics are practically the same.
Well now I don't think it's Manning or Brady. Peterson should get the award for his historic season and single-handedly leading the Vikings to the playoffs. Manning obviously should get comeback player of the year.

I do think Manning will win the award though.

Peterson won me over. The Vikings would be like 2-14 without him.

I agree with you guys on Peterson. Even though Peyton has had an amazing year he still stepped onto a playoff team and knew what he was doing when he selected the Broncos. Peterson is the Vikings...
You know how hippos are made out to be sweet and silly, like big cows, but are actually extremely dangerous and can kill you with stunning brutality? The Pacers are the NBA's hippos....Matt Moore CBS Sports....

He really has. If one of the best QBs of all time, has abundant time in the pocket then you don't need to worry. Pretty simple.
