So are you starting to slightly like Luck?
Hey!! No but I will always give him credit for a good game. There is a long way to go yet... I won't ever "like" him because of the way he was brought in but I can learn to respect him if he plays well..... I think talks about playoffs are silly. But, the media and Washington fans were doing the same thing last week and the week before with RGIII and that was silly too.....

Yeah, last week there were people saying RG3 was a probably legend and multiple Super Bowl player and even serious consideration for NFL MVP. Crazy, huh?
There are two types of quarterbacks in the league: Those whom over time, the league figures out ... and those who figure out the league.

So you blame the player for the managements decision. Thats completely rational.

It will mean that I will never be an Andrew Luck fan. The most he will ever get from me is respect for being a good or great players. Sorry, it happens.... On a side note, this year Indy may have the dubious distinction of having cut the MVP (Peyton Manning) and the defensive player of the year (Tim Jennings). Doesn't say much about talent evaluation or coaching in Jenning's case. Something turned a hated player (Jennings) into a valuable defensive player. I wonder what the Bears saw in Jennings that made them take that chance and how they brought out that talent. Peter King talks about it in his column today. I think Chicago knew they could develop. I just wonder how they knew it?

Tim Jennings isn't winning DPOY. There is this guy named JJ Watt.

Polian is the one who got rid of him. You always seem to blame everyone but Polian for the state of the Colts. But he was the one in charge when Jennings left. If you're going to blame anyone, it has to be Polian and Caldwell.

I am not sure it was Polian and I'm not sure it was Caldwell. Who was the coach directly responsible for defensive backs? Why don't we blame him? He had a star on his hands but couldn't bring it out....

Manning is undefeated against the Bengals he's done more damage to them than Mike Brown has...

He had 2 picks though but he got past that.

Peyton Manning Is The Smartest Businessman Alive And An Indirect Weed Profiteer
    11.07.12 Written by Danger Guerrero

As anyone who has watched any amount of television over the past few weeks knows, Peyton Manning appeared in a commercial for Papa John’s in which he creepily calls the pizza chain’s owner “Papa” instead of John for some reason, and attempts to get him to give away two million free pizzas. What you may not know, however, is that Manning has gotten into the pizza business himself recently, signing a deal to open 21 Papa John’s franchises in the Denver area. (NOTE: I like to think that after he did this Eli immediately ran out and bought a Chuck E. Cheese.) Why am I bringing this two week old story to your attention, you ask? Because this happened last night:

Colorado and Washington passed referendums legalizing marijuana for recreational use, becoming the first states in the country to legalize the drug, according to ABC News.

The initiatives would allow marijuana to be cultivated and for special stores to sell up to an ounce to individuals 21 and older. [...]

“It’s unprecedented,” Jonathan Caulkins, a Carnegie Mellon University professor, told The Denver Post. He said the change would put Colorado to the left of the Netherlands when it comes to marijuana policy. [ABC]

To recap: Peyton Manning bought 21 pizza franchises, and two weeks later weed was legalized. So, basically

Right, because never before in NFL history has one team cut someone who then went on to become a good player on another team.

And of course, it's convenient you don't bring up the 10 other teammates on the field with Jennings. I'm sure Tillman, Urlacher, Melton, Briggs, Peppers, etc, are mirror images of his Colts teammates.

And I'm relieved to know you'll never like Luck but at least you'll respect him. Lol. Way to make an anonymous stand on the Internet against Irsay and the Colts. Lol

Congrats Peyton for TD #420(how ironic considering they passed the marijuana law in Colorado earlier this week)

I think the Broncos will lose one more game and finish with 12 wins. I wouldn't be surprised though if they ran the table for the rest of the season. That would be typical Manning.

He could win that 5th MVP now that Atlanta has lost....

The MVP is a curse I rather see Manning win the SB (that is if the Colts aren't in contention)

The only curse I believe in is the one the General has laid on IU...... I want to see him win that for the fifth time... That might put it out of reach for a very long time....

Peyton has serious competition from Andrew Luck in the MVP race. Matt Ryan blew it against a bad Saints team today, and didn't look like an MVP when the game was on the line

So one loss disqualifies Matt Ryan all of a sudden? Especially in a game he played well in?

Lord knows how Luck is still in this running with the Bears/Jets games

I hope Manning wins his 5th this year!
