It's weird, the more things change the more they stay the same. Who are the 3 big names in the AFC right now other than Houston? New England, Pitt, and Indy. Just like every other November for the past decade.
    Ahem..... Denver..... ...

Is Andy Reid officially done? Sure they will probably wait until the end of the year, but isn't the writing on the wall now...

Yes you know that his son's death is haunting this team.

I could've sworn Mudd was a better O-Line coach than this but of course there's a dropoff between Manning and Vick as QB

    I found this somewhat interesting...

ESPN SportsNation: Who would get your vote if we held an election for the President of American pro team sports?

The choices: Tom Brady, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Derek Jeter, and Peyton Manning.

    The current results:

Tim Jennings with two more interceptions tonight. Ridiculous.

Tim Jennings sucked so bad while he was here. Nuts.
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

I just need about three points from the Steelers' defense against the putrid Chiefs to pull out a fantasy victory. It would be an epic disappointment if that somehow didn't happen.

I've been listening to "Mike and Mike" this morning and they keep talking about how some players on the Jets anonymously told the NY Daily News that Tebow is "terrible". Good lord, who cares what some players on a crappy team said about a crappy quarterback? Can we talk about the teams that actually matter in the NFL?

NFL.com's Albert Breer reports that New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski (forearm) had screws inserted into his broken arm and he hopes to return in Week 14 against the Texans. Gronk broke his forearm on an extra point play in the Patriots' blowout win over the Colts after putting up a huge fantasy day.

We might need to create a Former Colts thread around here at this point.

In a couple of weeks the Bucs vs Broncos should be a good game.

Good for Dallas, he's a down to earth guy and appreciates the opportunity he's had.

Little training camp story.... Dallas and Aaron Moorehead were slated to sit and sign autographs in the tent after practice. The time allotted was usually about half an hour or a few minutes over. For some of the players you could tell this was a chore and just wanted to get it over with. Dallas would take the time with the kids to make sure it was as personal as can be with basically someone sitting behind the table with a black and blue Sharpie. At times if it seemed like some of the players were just going through the motions he would start a game.

The game.... just like at a fair you had to guess the weight and age of the fans standing in line. Moorehead was always pretty cheerful too (probably excited and surprised he was even in the NFL). Anyway as the fans would step up for the autograph they would get the surprise of their life as their NFL hero wanted to know their name, their age, and how much they weigh. Little did they know it was also part of the game. People would have this weird look on their face as they would approach and you would hear these guys go '5'9.... 167....42. Now Dallas isn't a dummy so if you were female, a little on the chubby side, and probably didn't want to give your age a nice thank you for coming out to practice was pretty much the conversation.

Side note while talking about the autograph tent.... I know folks were a little disappointed in the LB Rob Morris and his career with the Colts but I'll always have respect for the guy because he did care about the fans. I was working one of the sessions with 5 players in the tent that day when the time was up. There was still a huge amount of folks still standing in line when the line was cut off. I know these guys just can't stay all day because their schedule is pretty regimented so that's the way it goes. Still stinks for those folks with many of them being kids who can't get close to the players any other time other than camp...The crowd was pretty understanding but you could see a lot of disappointed people.....

4 players hopped on the cart to go to lunch.... one player 'Rob Morris' walked the entire remaining autograph line to sign every last autograph and take a picture with anyone who asked. Total time including signing in the tent..... 1 hour 42 minutes. He was a starter at the time, didn't have to worry about being cut, but took the time because it made people happy. I witnessed other times he was like this.... Rob wasn't the best player, but he understood. Clark was that way, Jeff Saturday was that way, and that is the main reason I will always remember these guys being Colts only.

Pretty impressive feat by the Texans: two overtime wins in a span of 5 days, with only about two minutes left in each one.

    RG3 had another great game.

Romo did, too, and I am mad I started Matt Shaub over him today. Sigh.

Come on Jets. Just start Tebow, the season is pretty much over, isn't it? I wanna see some Tebow magic. Quit being stubborn with Sanchez.

Why the hell did the Lions kick a 47 yard field goal in OT when it was 3rd down and time wasn't an issue? Why would you not try to pick up a couple more yards? A couple extra yards would have been enough as that Hansen kick barely missed.

You just never know what to expect from the Giants. One week they're getting creamed by Cincy, the next week they are beating the hell out of GB. I guess all you need to know about them is that you certainly don't want to run into them come January.

Big fan of the Ravens and Chargers this week. Good news is that the Jets have pretty much collapsed so they won't be a problem and the Dolphins are playing the Patriots. Things are really working out for the Colts so far this year.
