The Seattle Supersonics children's book "Mommy, What's A Supersonic" is a sad read (Pictures)

After the Seattle Supersonics left for Oklahoma City, there was some sadness in Seattle and from that came documentaries and tribute songs.

However, we here at That NBA Lottery Pick found something that ranks even higher on the sadness scale. There is a new IBook called, "Mommy, What's A Supersonic" done by Andrew Gall in the style of a children's book.

All the whining over Seattle losing their NBA team has gotten quite annoying. I think what's most annoying of all is that I've seen people applauding the notion of another NBA team moving -- Sacramento, in particular -- with the hope that they'll move to Seattle. There's a sense of entitlement with the Seattle situation that I don't think I've ever seen with any other franchise relocation. It's as if these people are saying, "Who cares about NBA fans in other cities. Just get Seattle a team. They deserve one, unlike those other cities."

Seattle having their NBA team "stolen?" BOO! That is so ****ing wrong!

Seattle "stealing" another city's NBA team? YAY! **** that other city's fans, Seattle finally has a team again!

This is why I was in favor of sending the Hornets franchise to Seattle, renaming them the Sonics, and offering the Hornets name back to Charlotte (which seems to be what the fans here want). This was all while the NBA actually still owned the Hornets. I would hate to see the Kings go there, and it reminds me of an interview from Sonicsgate (where the poet notes he would never want to see another city go through this). The Hornets, on the other hand, never seemed to be embraced by the people of New Orleans.

Got any examples of someone actually saying this? Because I don't remember reading it.

I would say that if the Kings are MOVING ANYWAY, it would be nice to see them end up in Seattle, where the fans clearly didn't want to lose the Sonics originally, so that those fans can have a team again.

That is not at all the same as wanting the Kings to leave Sacramento, thereby breaking the hearts of Sacramento Kings fans. See the difference?

If you can produce quotes from posters that prove what you're saying, fine, but I haven't seen any posts like that.
