Oh yeah no doubt, I still expect this team to be decent and win some games, I'm just looking at the team and trying to see what is there for the future and it looks like the Colts have a bunch of holes to fill.
Definitely a lot of holes to fill. With any luck (no pun intended), we have a few keepers: Luck, Hilton, Fleener, Allen, Angerer, Davis. But you're right, there are holes everywhere.

To be honest, Luck really hasn't looked very good today.

Trenches are where it's won. We're bad on both sides of the ball. That makes it really hard for what talent we have to really come into play. That will be a mountain to overcome this year unless there is significant improvement.

Offensive line has been atrocious. 90% of the time when Luck throws the pocket is collapsing making it really difficult for him
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

He's missed several throws today that were makeable, over threw Reggie a few times, forced a few to many, really under threw the ball bad on the first pick. The O Line, just awful. Perhaps there was a little bit of nerves today. Things went pretty well for him in the preseason, this is a big setup in competition being it's a very good team, at home on opening day, and it really matters now.

He still made some nice plays though, and we know the talent is there, and it still showed while having a bad game. I'm pretty confident we are better a team than we have looked like today. The Bears should have one of the top offenses and a good D, they are legit.

the defensive coverage is terrible. half of the passes have been completed with no DBs around.

Haven't seen the game, but will watch it on Rewind tomorrow. Looking forward to drawing my own conclusions on Luck. But my first impression is say what you will about the lack of WR depth, but Luck couldn't get it going with Jerry Rice out there without a decent line to protect him.

Ok so now he made a decent pass, it also feels nice that your coach trust you enough to go for it unlike the previous coaches and they had Manning.

Yeah, and most of (if not all) his overthrows have been under pressure. I bet you could count on one hand how many times he has stepped into a pass.

Glad to see him manage a TD pass in his first game, despite the obvious struggles

They should go to him all the time, nobody from the Colts can stop him.
