It never gets old thinking about that. The ultimate sports memory.

Bears fans are typically Colts haters, and want nothing more than to see Luck fail. I think you should go just to watch his face as Luck is picking apart the Bears defense

As a Bears fan I'd like to see the Colts do relatively well. I wasn't even mad about that Super Bowl, Peyton deserved that ring, Sexy didn't.

That said I don't think we're gonna get beat by y'all this year.

I wish I could share in everyone's optimism, but I could see this being just like last year's opener at Houston (Luck comes out nervous and fumbles early, or has multiple picks). I hate that his first game has to be in Chicago, against a team whose fans have hated the Colts for a long time and desperately want him to fail.

Here's to hoping he proves me wrong and shows the same poise he did in the preseason.

I see the Bears winning by 10, Luck with 18 yards rushing, and Austin Collie going down with another concussion. Sounds like gloom and doom but really I'm excited for this team. Growing pains means something good is in your future. Last year was just pain.

Bold prediction (and I'm completely serious): Colts 31 Bears 21. That Bears defense is oooolllllddd and I am (and have been) all in on Andrew Luck. The new era begins now.

I think this should be a solid game.

    Now really free Lance!

I think the Bears will win this game. I think the Colts will surprise some people though. Some predict them to be the worst team in the league, again, but I think they will surprise some people with their play in this game.

The Bears are an interesting team, IMO. On one hand I can see them winning the Super Bowl. On the other hand I can see them on the outside looking in the playoffs. They are in such a tough division (there is so much parity in the NFL overall) that it will come down to the health of the teams. Time will tell if the Bear's age makes them a savvy team or washed up.

    Bears 34 - Colts 17

Probably is a closer than final score indicates, but just can't see us ready to for that type of road win already. Front 7 and O-line have to prove it before I'll pick em on the road against this level of opponent. Of course, should we win, I guess they will have proven it.

This team is clearly playing with a chip on their shoulder. Such a different mindset from last season, when they played defeated from the very start. That's a great sign.

The D started to look good for a minute but they didn't know what to do at the end there, hopefully they get it together.
