I had been on the fence about this IU team. Were they a true champion caliber team?

The answer is YES. No team has a better resume than the Indiana Hoosiers at this point.

I hope OlBlu has an enjoyable evening. Hahahaha.

Yeah Victor Oladipo is still getting better as the year goes by. Him and Yogi have that in common actually. This team is scary.

If Oladipo loses POY I will be pissed at this point.

The foul on Harris's 3 attempt alone was an absolute travesty. That was the best possible defense you could play. Nothing even remotely close to a foul. I know there have arguably been bigger wins in terms of the overall turnaround of the program, but that to me was perhaps the most impressive win so far of the last two years.

I think that Illinois loss really lit a fire under our a***. We've just been zoned in since then.

As well it should have. A really embarrassing loss. Good to see we learned our lesson from it.

He probably watched the whole thing. Later he'll come on here and say "I don't watch them, or college sports. It's all corrupt. "

I actually turned it off after Harris drew the foul with about 1:38 to go. I was so pissed at the refs I thought I might break something. After cooling down, I turned it back on to see Oladipo's tip-in for the lead. Talk about a rollercoaster of emotion in the final 20 seconds. Going from thinking "they'll make a shot and beat us by 1" to thinking "it's ours now!" to thinking "holy crap, he's going to make all three and they'll beat us in overtime" to thinking "YES YES YES! SUCK IT MSU!"

2 hours later and I'm still drained. The Big Ten is ours to lose now, boys.

See what I mean to say is that Oladipo would lock up POY tonight...Yeah, that's what I meant....

Crazy that he did that when he was pretty clearly a step slow. Kid is crazy.

Just horrible tonight. I thought the And 1 in our favor would be easily the worst call of the night. Then the foul on Sheehey happened...

Zeller had a great game. Maybe the best I've seen from him.

He still wasn't even close to being his team's best player. Truly amazing.
Yep, and this pretty much sums it up.

On a night he was clearly a step slow, he was still by far the best guy on the court. Vic is incredible.

Also give Crean some credit. That final blow he got Vic from about the 5 minute mark to 2:30 was huge for him. He took Izzo to task tonight.

Every time I try to watch college bb the officiating is like that, so I don't watch again for a long time.

I just hope it shuts up the idiot portion of the Purdue fanbase that keeps saying Crean's an O'Brien level game coach and Painter's the second coming. I really, REALLY, don't want this to become a debate about that. It's just amazing that once a coach has talent that can actually do what he wants all of a sudden he knows what he's doing and when he has crap talent he's an idiot. People just never take talent into enough account.

You should watch it sometime. Nothing else compares to the screwjob Valentine gave IU in the second half of that game. Nothing.
    Nothing.

But don't make it worse by listening to Billy Pakcer kissing his @$$. "This is great officiating! Very consistent! Every time Indiana drives to the basket its an offensive foul. That's the consistency you want!" Clown.

Ted Valentine really makes every bad NBA official look good.

What will the Pacers have to trade to make a run at Olidipo? Its gonna be worth it.

PG. Seriously. With Roy's contract and offensive fall off we don't have anything else close to get high enough.

Yeah, at this point assuming his combine numbers are as crazy as I expect them to be it's tough to see a scenario where he isn't a top 5 guy.

Honestly if Roys problems aren't the result of an injury thats going to heal, it might be time to think about trading him. Especially for a guy like Oladipo, who is drawing comparisons to Wade and MJ

I love oladipo and I think his game will translate well. And I know for sure he will be a solid starter but I still wouldn't trade PG for him. Roy on the other hand... Sign me up.

This I would not do, to result a donut team. If you're trading Roy to move up, its to draft Zeller not Olidipo, and I wouldn't advise that at all. Toss the contracts aside, no way Zeller can compete in the low post at Hibbert's level for YEARS. I see Zeller as a high post player in the NBA.

I still see weaknesses in PG's game. He's not untouchable in my book. At least, not yet. I'm sure that VO will show weaknesses. But my goodness.

I'm Oladipo's biggest fan. I've been pimping him since November. You don't give up on PG to get him. You just don't.
