Hope so, although Coffman can't catch all those drops FOR the WRs.

well, even though the blocked punt was a knife in the gut- the score could be much worse. i thought we might be down 4 touchdowns by now. we had some dropped passes that should have been caught. hopefully, they catch those in the 2nd.

I want to think there's improvement going on, but when you can't even punt successfully...

Honestly, I think this offense runs better with a pocket passer than it does with Roberson. The offense slows to that read option **** (like a much less effective Ohio State offense) with Roberson in. I think we would be better, but not that much better.

Miller wasnt out of bounds. Pathetic OSU needs the refs help badly

He was clearly on his way out, but he was also clearly still in bounds (technically).

yeh, that looked like a pretty weak call. he still looked in-bounds to me and that was after several replays.

I'm ready for Sudfeld after that possession...even though I have the sense that he's even more dicey.

Love the effort there at the end. Wilson is right though--at some point moral victories don't mean squat. Need to get some Ws. We are on the right track though. I think Sudfeld needs to start next game, too.

another good thing about this, is if purdue loses to this same osu team next week 52-0 or something, the pressure to fire hope may be too much for the ad to withstand...

Judging by the scene at Ross-Ade Stadium near the end of today's game, I'm not sure anyone cares enough to put pressure on Burke to fire Hope (although it needs to happen and needed to happen after they lost to IU in Lynch's lame duck coup de grace).

Security was apparently encouraging people to leave because of the weather I guess. Which is about the most Purdue thing ever.

Well, the next 3 (only 2 of which are B1G) look like at least victory possibilities. They need to get a Big 10 win here sometime. That would help with the mentals and the momentum. Mind you, by no means saying I expect them to win three, just that there's a chance to get a win or two in there.

David Kenney, a 4-star DE recruit from Pike High School, has decommitted from Iowa. He has been spotted at several IU games this year and word on the street has it that he will pop for Indiana soon. Two 4-star recruits to help our moribund defense? I'm starting to believe...

Him and Woo Woo would be a great start to building a defense.

Good to hear. Like I said, I am starting to think that I was wrong about Wilson. Hopefully I was
