And Wisconsin it is. Another shot to get the badger off our back.

If we win and OSU makes it to the final, we could possibly be looking at the IU BTT Revenge Tour.

Fun scenario: We beat Wisconsin, Ohio State in the B1G Championship. Butler gets put in our bracket and we meet them in the NCAAs.

Trey Burke shot 8-22, which is simply about what he almost always does vs. good teams.

I hate Wisconsin as much as anyone but you can't argue with the consistent results they have had under Bo Ryan. His style of play is IU's kryptonite. Tomorrow will be a tough game. Fortunately IU has probably done enough to get a #1 seed regardless of tomorrow's outcome.

We gave up 43 points in the second half and couldn't keep them out of the lane. I'm glad we won but I felt we got outplayed for a majority of the second half.
IU outscored Illinois in the second half. There was no way the Illini were going to shoot as poorly as they did in the first half in the second half as well.

In the end IU got a comfortable win over a tourney team and padded its already fat tourney resume.

Whenever we play Bucky - regardless of our motivation - I am nervous. A revenge victory would be absolutely sublime, of course.

Wisconsin's style of play takes away IU's strengths and forces them to be patient and execute in the half court. Their bigs get physical with Zeller and take him out of his game.

It takes away everyone's strengths. There's a reason Bo Ryan wins with so-so talent. Slow the game down, limit possessions, play good defense, and execute a handful of plays at a very high level. It's an equalizing strategy, and it works very well. But I would be shocked if he ever won a national title playing that way.

Not that it really matters, but our future Big Ten pals Maryland may have just handed us the #1 overall seed.

Ryan will never win a title with his style of play.. Wisconsin is very BAD when their shots don't fall (see Purdue, Michigan State, UVA). In the tournament they run into a team with superior athletes that can overcome their lethargic style of play.

Louisville and Kansas may go ahead of IU in overall seeding still if they win their tourneys and IU loses tomorrow.

IU is a #1 seed almost certainly now though in some region.

Iowa should have won that game. I think their resume is strong enough to get in, though.
