How do you miss a 3 then not get back off the long board at this stage of the game?

Watford and Zeller with double doubles. Hopefully they foul Yogi so he can get double figures

Double-double for Watford. He's been quietly awesome in this game.

Yogi with ice in his veins at the end. Knocking down all the free throws. He's going to go down as the second best point guard in Indiana history when his career is over.

X-factor of the game: Jeremy Hollowell. He's starting to get it, fellas. He completely outplayed Glenn Robinson III. Huge blocks, rebounds, some nice defense...he's going to be key if we are to win a national title.

Glen is really overrated it's kind of comical at this point. He was deemed the best NBA prospect on his team by most experts and he isn't even close to it. Hollowell did play hard tonight and so did Watford. That to me is the Xfactor for IU if Watford plays hard they win. When he doesnt they struggle.

But that is a good point if Hollowell picks it up it can make up for the times when Watford doesn't go hard. But for IU to win it all I think Watford is the X-factor.

X-factors aren't starters or guys who play 30+ minutes per game. They are guys who come in off the bench and give you key minutes while the guys who do play 30+ minutes per game are resting.

Just got back to the dorm from the game. That atmosphere was beyond incredible. Probably most exciting game I have witnessed in person mainly due to how amazingly crazy the student section got.

One main perk as an IU student- Get Lower Level tickets against Michigan for $15.

Got to get the TO's under control. That was much closer than it needed to be.
Why do the things that we treasure most, slip away in time
Till to the music we grow deaf, to God's beauty blind
Why do the things that connect us slowly pull us apart?
Till we fall away in our own darkness, a stranger to our own hearts
And life itself, rushing over me
Life itself, the wind in black elms,
Life itself in your heart and in your eyes, I can't make it without you

    I disagree

Watford is the key to IU winning a National Championship IMO.

I was at the game, loudest I've ever heard AH. Going without Yogi for that long stretch really hurt us. Sheehey didn't do much offensively but it seemed like he played great D on Burke. Refs were disgustingly bad.

By what I define as an X-factor, Christian Watford isn't it. He may be a key to winning the national championship (although I think if you are looking for a guy outside of Zeller/Oladipo, that guy is Yogi Ferrell), but what do I know? I've only watched every minute of IU's play this year.

The start to this game was unreal. 20 points in 5 minutes....that's insane. I thought IU was going to have another 50 point first half.

IU has to cut down on turnovers. Many of them are a result of simply trying to play too fast.

We understand that this is a push the tempo style team. So there's probably a certain amount of turnovers that such a style will create. But, even then, it's got to be a reasonable number of turnovers. We normally have too many that are bad or ill - timed passes or just trying to push the ball up court off the dribble through two and three defenders.

I loved that the student section did not storm the court. We should beat the best team on our court. We've been there before. And now we have to work hard not to have any student section storm the court in a game we play.

I disagree... this team goes as Watford goes... His ability to consistantly play and contribute at a high level is key to the success of the Hoosiers...

Zeller seems to be a little frail. I don't think he can hold position against anyone..... not that I am watching..... ...
He was the best player on the court last night.

Yogi is amazing for a freshman. He may not be more talented than Trey, but the big difference is that Yogi impacts the game on both sides of the ball. Trey is not a very good defender and it showed last night.

Big 3s from Hulls and one that would have counted that got waived off on whatever that goofy *** foul call was near half court.

Quietly another good game from Watford. No guy takes more unnecessary ******** comments from fans in the stands than him. Yet he is probably a top 40 or so IU player at this point.

Oladipo and Zeller....what can you say? No chance either one is back now. Zeller dominated that game in a crucial stretch with his putback dunks. Victor only gave up 4 points last night when he was directly guarding someone....he was on the court for 45 defensive possessions.
