Give me a break. IU's streak is at 10. The program is getting much better and if they don't win a conference game this year they definitely will next year.
Heard the same promises last year. And IUs streak is at 10. Without looking its likely Northwestern streak is somewhere between 20 to 24. So even if Wilson wins one next year they could very well set the record

I think Hoosier Hysteria is maybe setting up to be a disaster. They are opening the doors 3 hours before hand and I can only imagine how many people are going to try and go.

I don't think it will be a problem or anything the university is unprepared for.

You have to wonder if they will have to start going to tix eventually though....

So that chart is pretty ridiculous. From SI's preseason power rankings, which places IU at Number 1.

A few tidbits I'm stealing from Rabjohns over on Peegs premie board on Crean's interview today on Dakich.

Quick recap of Tom Crean on Dan Dakich's radio show this afternoon …

Said he'd really like to have a "starting eight" - eight guys that could start on any given night, the constants being Cody Zeller and Jordan Hulls.

On how much Yogi Ferrell impacts IU playing fast: "A ton. He's a one-man press offense."

On Hanner Perea (was in a boot): "Within a couple weeks, he'll be back full time."

Said a big key is that as opposed to a few years back when it was Jordan Hulls, Will Sheehey and Victor Oladipo really working hard, it's about everybody. Said there hasn't been one time this offseason he's worried about how hard any member of this group is working.

On the preseason rankings: "Last year, they responded to a lack of expectations but they weren't driven by it; they were driven by a desire to get better. … It's the same thing now."

Said Zeller could bench 185 pounds 10 times entering college, can bench 225 pounds 14 times now, can squat 415 pounds.

Said the one of the biggest changes for Oladipo is that a year ago, he couldn't keep big guys like Trevor Mbakwe in front of him, now can keep guards like Keith Appling out of the lane and those are things the NBA notices.

Said Indiana wants to get in the mid-60s in number of shots per game. Said that's what Duke teams of 1990s and early 2000s were doing. IU averaged 53.5 shots per game last year and 10 of those came from players who graduated.

On Indiana's defense this year: "If you're not carrying your weight on that, you may not get back in."

IU, UL, and UK. Three of the top four...that might be a first (at least in many years). What a final four that would be.

Just a reminder that IU Basketball practice is being broadcast live tomorrow at 5 pm on ESPNU.

IU's main target is Vonleh followed by Anya, then Williams. Williams is at the bottom of the list because he has already said he is going to sign in spring.

Thumbs up for the ESPNU practice coverage. Much, much better than the NBATV coverage of the Pacers practice.

The refs helping OSU to beat Indiana is just downright hysterical.

I sincerely doubt that is the intention. I think it's just legitimately poor refereeing. No conspiracy theories afoot.

I really don't know how you could watch this team and not think they are vastly improved over last year. It may not result in a big differential in wins this season, but we are playing a lot of young guys and recruiting seems to be improving as well. If we can swing a few more of these in state guys--we could go bowling in a year or two.

Well don't feel bad about the ISU thing. I don't know if you know but Indiana state just beat the number one ranked North Dakota state (defending national champions) 17-14 at the fargodome

I will actually admit that these last two games the team has looked better. Mostly because the defense. I still contend sudfeld should be starting.

Yeah, maybe. I'm not sure. Coffman really isn't bad enough to bench. I'm betting we see Sudfeld on at least a few series tonight.

If this defense sticks around this team will be dangerous next year with Roberson. Maybe Wilson is the guy to revive IU football

Put Sudfeld in damn it. Coffman cant lead a high powered offense we have to put points up. Coffman is a game manager.

Just a hunch: I think we will see Sudfeld leading the offense on our first possession of the second half.
