I figured we would sign at least 1 or 2 more
Still time. Anyone making a claim has to cut someone to do it. So those guys will be in play.

If our Offensive Line is so bad, why did NY Jets pick up two OL we cut?

I like our situation at CB right now. we have Powers and Davis on each side and hopefully Davis can start the beginning of the season. Both guys are talented. I think Davis will do better and not have the problems that had with Miami. We have some vets that can mentor him and show him what it takes to be a professional athlete. I think the O-line will struggle at first, but down the stretch I see them improving once they get used to working with each other and have some continuity. My concerns are will our WR and LB spots. I think we are thin with Collie having issues. I know TY and Brazil looked good in camp and hopefully they can continue to improve with more time with Luck. I would like to see us get a vet if possible. I think we are doing an injustice to Freeney by trying to put him in the LB spot. He has seemed to struggle in this system and I think we could get good trade value, possibly enough to get a descent and physical LB to play in this system. I know it takes time to learn a new position and hopefully he gets it soon.

I would like to get a lineman, but we've reached the limit on trading draft picks so I don't think that's the way to get it done.

Yeah, I think we are just going to have to make do with what we have this year. Next year though, priority number 1 needs to be beefing the line up with our cap space.
