When Byrd goes off, we are competitive with anyone. Interesting A Johnson only got 4 minutes. Did Hammons seriously manage to get 0 rebounds?

^Even better, IU lost to WISC, so basically we are better than IU, and so more or less the #1 team in the nation, can call it as season.

LOL somebody at another site posted "Everyone on Campus, Airport 5:00 Guys!"

We have completely abandoned our standards.

(also, I thought the sequester was shutting down the airport or something).

Seriously can't believe we won that, especially with Hammons playing like crap and Sandi Marcius(!) being a major reason we won. Painter's got a career .500 record in the Kohl Center, which considering it's the Kohl Center, is pretty damn outstanding. Don't know what it is, I'm certainly nowhere near x's and o's intelligent enough to know, but Painter just seems to have Ryan's gameplanning figured out.

Really liked what I saw from the Boilers yesterday.

The one thing that could salvage this season for me is if Purdue would matchup with IU in the Big 10 tournament and beat the Crimson off of them.

It would be the highlight of my season. That's for sure.

It only makes perfect sense in this ******** season that we would play like that yesterday, and it would result in IU wining the Big Ten.

Fantastic win though. Glad to see they actually played hard again, and looked like they were enjoying themselves. Winning is fun, guys.

If we would've just played hard like that all year, we'd have been better. I think that's what's disappointing about this year more than W/L is just that there hasn't consistent effort.

    Absofrickinlutely.

Hammons has a chance to be a very, very good player. I'm still not convinced, him leaving after this season, wouldn't end up being addition by subtraction.

It's never a great sign when you're clearly the most talented big man on the roster and your coach has benched you for pretty much every other option at one point or another.

if it's in the title game I'm with you since it'd mean going to the tourney. otherwise, whatever.

I'll be happy with any scenario where we don't have to play them again. Getting totally dusted 3 times in this season, would just be the icing on the cake.

I'd say the only appropriate ending to this season would be a 25+ point *** kicking at the hands of Victor Oladipo and company. Preferably, one in which Will Sheehey decides to show up for the only time all tournament.

Purdue has more top 25 wins than the current #1 team in the country. Where's our votes in the poll?!

So if Purdue wins, IU wins the Big 10? I hate this season so bad.

Purdue beating Wisconsin already gave theme a piece. But if my some miracle Purdue beats Michigan, that won't insure that IU gets it alone.

Painter (and Stevens) apparently offered Dan Dakich's son Andrew a preferred walk-on spot next year. He's not a player you'd want getting actual minutes in a power conference, but he can play. Probably be a pretty good practice player, Dru Anthrop style.

Seems like you and Painter think alike with the lack of guards he has brought it.

But seriously, 10 mins in and only Marcicus has scored. Great.
