I actually think this was a very strong rookie QB class and all five of the starters have a good chance of being something special down the road...:-
WTF? Then why you have spent literally the past two months telling everyone how terrible Luck is and always will be?

Because as the number draft pick and the overhyped "most NFL ready QB in history" he should be better than he is right now. The fact is he is ranked 5th of the 5 rookie QBs. Does that mean anything for next year and the next five years? Well, not so much for the other four but who knows what he will do behind a decent offensive line. The problem is they are years from having that line. Will that raise his completion percentage? Perhaps a bit but it isn't going to make him a 70% passer as he was propped up to be..... Personally, I am not a fan of Luck. I was not before he was drafted and even less so now but that is just me.. I thought "you-know-who" was the best QB prospect before the draft and sure think so now.

Hopefully they do both stay healthy, because I think that unless one of them suffers a major injury they both have the potential to turn into very good QB's, they may be the future faces of the NFL
Dan Marino just ranked he 1st and second year QBs. He has RGIII as the best and mentions that he makes everyone around him better. Luck is number 2. He had Weeden and Tannahill ranked highly too. Cam Newton was rated number 3 along with talk that he needs to mature but Marino says that Newton is the player he would really like to coach. This was on the CBS "NFL Today" program....

I would agree with that, I said in a post a while ago that I agree RGIII is having the better rookie season, he is really electrifying and fun to watch, I don't understand what is up with Cam Newton, looks nothing like himself last year

I think it is the coaching staff not giving him options when defenses have changed to defend him. They also didn't add much around him and may have stepped back as a team...

Luck looked like a stud out there making fantastic decisions down the stretch and dealing with passes that should have been caught.

The kid is a born leader stud Franchise QB...who is only going to improve.

Well, Griffin didn't look nearly as good when he HAD to throw the ball, which is the point most of us have made when comparing Luck and Griffin.

Luck with a big day on a win that pushes us to 4-3. We're in a playoff hunt, WTF?

Redskins are 3-5. Colts are 4-3. I could care less about meaningless stats, winning is all that matters. Luck > RG3

Now you guys are always making excuses for Luck so I'll make one for RGIII. The Redskins had an NFL season high 11 drops including two in the end zone. I am a believer that all of those things even out. I thought about Luck when people said drops were the reason is completion percentage is so low... RGIII threw those 11 passes right on the money. Santana Moss dropped three. It will even out over the next two or three games when those receivers make great plays for him. Luck was excellent and although he struggled most of the day, when the opportunities came, he made the most of them.
Well done. I have two televisions so I could watch both games.....

Enjoy it, as you should but the fact is RGIII has already won that battle. Don't compare the Titans to the Steelers..... RGIII has a very rough schedule and as the vapacersfan said, he would be happy with .500 this year and I think it will be hard for Washington to get there. I don't think the Colts will get there either but it isn't because of Luck, that defense is really bad....

LOL by your logic Jay Cutler and Matt Ryan >>>>>> Tom Brady Peyton Manning and Rodgers

Oh and I forgot Brees he must really suck they are 2-4 it's all his fault I mean the Brees guy is awful. I mean Kevin Kolb is 4-3 he is 100X better than Brees right.

LOL you cant just count winning 53 guys are on a football team you could have a perfect QB with 4 terrible WRs who drop everything does that mean the QB sucks? No.

You think the Colts are a better football team than the Redskins? Put it this way, our number 1 CB, Powers, every time he was thrown at today was a completion.

You are welcome to believe that. I think the Colts would be a ten point dog if they played the skins and I think the actual result would be worse. I also think that RGIII might just have the greatest day for a QB in NFL history if they did meet......

I don't see how you can make that argument. The Redskins were a much better football team last year and added Alfred Morris and RGIII.

I'm pretty sure Luck would probably have his way with that Washington secondary as well.

Yes, he would. Perhaps I should have said it would be the biggest shootout in NFL history....

Boy, this sounds a lot like the "excuse making" that you've accused us of.

I'm pretty sure Vontae Davis tore his ACL today so he's quickly drifting toward worst trade ever territory.
