Will Luck and RG3 be playing corner against one another or something?

Why do you so badly want RG3 to fail?
    Several reasons:

    1. RGIII has Luck's Heismann that Andrew rightfully deserved
    2. RGIII isn't on Luck's level, and idiots like Skip Bayless and Merrill Hodge think he is better. I want these two to look bad
    3. Pierre Garcon spurned the Colts to sign with Washington. If RGIII fails, Pierre Garcon will fail
    4. I don't like Mike Shannahan and want him to fail.

It wasn't even close to 40%. Pretty much everyone agreed that Luck should go number one. I'd say maybe 20% of people would say RG3 should have gone first. Luck was an overwhelming favorite to go to the Colts.
Amongst the experts. Amongst the general public, however, I don't buy one bit that it was 20%. Right before the draft, I'd say at least 50% thought RG3 was the guy.

I want RG3 to pan out, but I wish no ill will on Luck.

The only team I will ever wish ill will on is the Dallas Cowboys, and while I will root for the Redskins Saturday, I will be following the Colts throughout the year and hoping Luck has a good year.

Besides that, all I want to see is Washington progress, and if Dallas has a crappy year that is just icing on the proverbial cake

And who cares one way or the other? Luck is a Colt now, RG3 is a Redskin, the Redskins aren't a natural rival of the Colts and as far as I know RG3 has been nothing but a respectable kid since day 1. I hope they both have great careers.

To be 100% honest I think part of why they are not playing RG3 much is because A. He seems to be grasping the system pretty well and is progressing at a rate they like. and B. perhaps more importantly, and especially against a good Bears defense, our line was crap. To be fully fair we got hit with some injuries, but the line was beat on every series. RG3 was forced to tuck the ball and run way more then I cared to see, granted that is why I was happy he "fell" to us.
I'll buy a little bit of B, but absolutely none of A. EVERY QB at this point of the season wants/needs the time on the field. There not been a QB in the history of the NFL that has consumed the offensive playbook and learned to read an NFL defense in his first month or so in the league. And no - I'm not implying that Cousins is going to start, but there's something going on with Griffin. Wasn't one of the Redskins strong points their O-line ?? I don't pay much (if any) attention to them, but I thought I had heard that earlier. If Griffin doesn't play into the 2nd half Saturday, something is wrong.

The starters will play the whole first half and one series in the second half. They will not dress for game 4. Apparently this has always been Shannys style (never noticed it before, shows how much I pay attention)

Redskins strong point is O-line. Our line sucks, has for a while, and probably will for a while. Cerrato and company ignored it year after year, and short of our patch work guys becoming all pro (and Trent Williams staying away from the bong) the line will be a mess this year as well. Hell, this is not even talking about the injury bud (which has already hit the o-line is the last game)

I spent a lot of time in Washington this summer and this was a constant thread on talk radio. Redskins fans and management would not trade RG3 for Luck. They may be right or wrong but they love RG3. ...

RGIII certainly deserved the Heisman over Luck. We will see if RGIII is on Luck's level very soon and I don't mean in a preseason game. Why would Garcon` sign with a team that was going to lose just about every Sunday and take less money that Redskins offered. If you wanted them to keep Garcon` they should have paid him. I look for Pierre to have a 1000 yard+ season. Mike Shannahan is a very good football coach. His owner is suspect much like our owner is suspect but for different reasons. So, this really all comes down to socks? ...

Easily said when one knows they aren't getting Luck.

If you had a girl that was a 9 and a girl that was a 10 but knew you only had a chance with the girl that was a 9, then of course you'd be all about the girl that was a 9.

They are being ultra conservative to try and keep Luck from being killed. That rush you are seeing is what he will face all year long.... I am afraid it won't be pretty.... ...

Powers out with a knee sprain, questionable return. So he's done for the day.

RGIII has a cannon. Those two long passes have the Colts attention. He didn't hit them but they can see he can make them. He will throw lots of homerun balls to Garcon` before this year is over.... ...

Dang... good thing it's preseason, because he and Bethea are basically our secondary.

They're really the only NFL quality guys in the secondary. Zibikiowski's a glorified special teamer.

So does this mean Sorgi technically works for the Colts organization again?
